How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 402 — full solution

  1. Tap the Beige 20, White 14, Brown 3, and Black 20 jars into the four open bays. Beige ants eat the sleeping person's face, White ants remove the hair perimeter, Brown eats cat accents, and Black ants strip outer borders.
  2. Allow White 14 to finish. Deploy another Black 10 jar into the freed bay while Black 20 continues chewing the bed frame and lower border outlines, uncovering Light Green 20 in the grid reserve.
  3. As Black 10 finishes, tap the White 18 jar into bay 2 while Beige and Brown wind down to single digits. White ants clear the person's pillow and hair, revealing Pink 16 in the grid queue.
  4. Once Beige and Brown clear out, tap the Light Green 4, Cyan 14, and Beige 3 jars into the bays. Light Green ants chew the outer blanket edge while Cyan ants strip the exposed bed base.
  5. With Light Green 4 and Cyan 14 empty, tap Orange 22, two Brown 1 jars, Beige 5, and White 9 into bays in sequence. Orange ants begin consuming the cat's back and tail while White and Beige strip remaining facial pixels.
  6. Deploy Light Blue 20, Pink 1, Black 18, and White 1 into the bays as earlier colours clear. Pink ants eat the exposed center blanket, Black strips the cat's outlines, and Light Blue strips the bed legs.
  7. Refill the clearing bays with Beige 3, White 11, and Cyan 11. Cyan ants eat the rest of the bed mattress while White ants finish the pillow and cat belly, uncovering Orange 20 and Purple 18 in the grid.
  8. Tap Orange 20, Purple 18, Black 25, White 2, Beige 5, Brown 1, and Orange 1 in order as bays free up. The ants consume the remaining cat face, blanket folds, and inner outlines to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Pink 16 or Purple 18 jars before the Light Green blanket border is removed → Pink and Purple pixels are completely trapped inside the blanket, instantly stalling a bay.

Quick tips for Level 402

  • The fifth bay is taped off on this board, leaving only four working slots; avoid having more than one slow, large jar active at a time.
  • Clear Black outline jars steadily so that interior colours like Cyan and Pink become exposed along broad edges.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture shows an elderly person sleeping in a cyan hospital-style bed with an orange cat resting on top. Below the ant hole sit five bays (the fifth is taped off and locked) over a multi-row jar grid.
Goal
Clear all pixels of the sleeping person, bed, and cat by matching exposed edge colours to jars in the bays.
Opening
Tap Beige, White, Brown, and Black jars to start stripping the exterior hair, face, and outer frame lines safely.
Trap
The Pink blanket core is shielded by Light Green edging and Black outlines; opening Pink jars before stripping the border clogs a bay permanently.
Mechanic
Locked fifth bay restricts holding capacity to four jars simultaneously throughout the puzzle.

Level 402 questions

  • Why is the fifth bay crossed out in Level 402?

The fifth slot is blocked as a board constraint for this level, leaving you with only four active bays to manage.
