How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 35 — full solution

  1. With Orange 6, Red 8, Purple 5, Cyan, and Yellow 17 already active in the bays, let the outer flame edges clear. Tap Dark Grey 39 (front row, left) and Yellow 30 (front row, right) to clear head outlines, leaving Purple 5 stalled in bay 3 and four bays free.
  2. Tap Dark Grey 48 (front row, right), Purple 4 (front row, center), White 34 (uncovered in row 1, right), and Cyan 10 (row 2, center-right). Dark Grey strips the jawline, Purple 4 joins Purple 5 in bay 2, White chips the brow, and Cyan 10 counts down to 7 on the cheek accents.
  3. Tap Orange 20 (row 1, center) and White 11 (uncovered in row 1, center-right). Cyan finishes and frees bay 5, Dark Grey counts down to 11 in bay 1 while White eats into the face, keeping Purple 4 and Purple 5 waiting for the mouth cavity to open.
  4. Dark Grey 11 and White 11 finish, breaching the mouth and exposing the purple tongue pixels. The stalled Purple 4 and Purple 5 jars rapidly drain and clear bays 2 and 3. Tap Red 46 (row 1, left) which splits into Red 19 and Red 26, clearing flames above the brow.
  5. Tap the Black 3 key jar (row 2, left) to collect the keys and unlock the padlocked jar. Tap Cyan 1 (uncovered in center), White 25 (row 2, left), and Dark Grey 31 (uncovered right). The ants clear the unlocked mouth interior and jaw, leaving five active bays.
  6. Let White 25, Cyan 1, Purple 4, and Dark Grey 31 finish clearing their respective pixels. Tap Orange 37 (row 1, right), Yellow 45 (row 3, center), and Red 22 (row 2, right). The upper fire plume is stripped down, leaving bays occupied by Red 28, Orange 5, Yellow 3, and Red 22.
  7. Tap White 45 (row 1, left), White 15 (row 1, right), and Dark Grey 34 (row 2, left) into the freed bays. They strip the remaining white skull face and black facial features, leaving Red 4, White 1, Red 24, Dark Grey 27, and Yellow 13 in the bays with Orange 14 remaining in the grid.
  8. Tap Orange 14 (front row, center) and the uncovered Red 38 and Dark Grey 18 as the active Red, White, and Dark Grey ants finish eating the central skull fragments. The final orange ants eat the flame crest at the peak, clearing the picture completely.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Purple 4 into a bay right after Purple 5 stalls → two of your five bays are frozen until the skull mouth is fully stripped of White and Dark Grey pixels, leaving almost no buffer for other colours.
  • Filling all bays with flame colours (Red and Orange) while White and Dark Grey jars remain blocked in the grid → the skull face cannot be opened, stalling progress entirely.

Quick tips for Level 35

  • Prioritize Dark Grey and White jars to breach the skull mouth as soon as possible and free up stalled Purple jars.
  • Keep at least one bay completely empty when dealing with multi-phase colour uncovers to prevent unexpected buffer overflow.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The board features a fiery skull with yellow, orange, and red flames framing a white and black face with cyan highlights, sitting above five bays and a multi-layer grid of jars containing padlocks and keys.
Goal
Clear all pixels of the fiery skull picture across all layers.
Opening
Start by letting the active flame jars in the bays drain, then tap Dark Grey 39 and Yellow 30 from the front row to clear outer fire and facial outlines.
Trap
Purple jars stall in the bays because purple pixels are buried deep inside the closed mouth; filling bays with non-active colours before Dark Grey and White uncover the mouth triggers an instant gridlock.
Mechanic
A padlocked jar requires three keys to unlock, which are collected by tapping the Black 3 key jar and eating the matching black mouth pixels.

Level 35 questions

  • Why are my Purple jars not moving on Level 35?

Purple pixels represent the tongue deep inside the skull's mouth. They are shielded by Black, Dark Grey, and White pixels. Clear the face pixels first to expose the mouth and get the purple ants moving.

  • How do I unlock the padlocked jar on Level 35?

Tap the Black 3 key jar once it reaches the front row. As its black ants consume mouth pixels, they deposit the three keys required to release the padlock.
