How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 26 — full solution

  1. Tap Cyan 30 (front row, left), Orange 18 (front row, right), Lilac 24 (front row, centre-right), then send the newly revealed Beige 10 and Brown 28 into the bays. Cyan ants strip the outer leaf tips while Orange and Lilac begin clearing the wooden crate and luggage edges.
  2. As Beige 10 empties, tap Cyan 10 and Dark Grey 15 into the newly opened bays. Ants clear further edge leaves and the outlines of the binoculars while Orange and Brown finish eating the luggage and hat brim.
  3. Tap White 10 and Cyan 40 into the next free bays. The white shirt and cyan background accents are rapidly eaten away, while Brown counts down past 20 and clears more of the explorer's hat and jacket.
  4. Send Lilac 11, Dark Grey 27, Brown 10, and White 10 to the bays as slots open up. Ants consume the lower leaves and shirt sleeves, exposing the character's arms, face, and binoculars frame.
  5. Tap Dark Green 33, Cyan 29, Beige 8, and Dark Grey 11 into bays. These clear the dark foliage in the hat, the exposed arm pixels, and the binoculars frame, leaving two bays free.
  6. Bring in Dark Green 24 and Cyan 5 to clean up the last of the greenery and the upper leaf accents surrounding the hat.
  7. Deploy Orange 1, Dark Grey 12, Dark Grey 7, and White 15 into the active bays. Ants target the jacket lapels, cuffs, and remaining collar pixels, stripping down the character's torso.
  8. Tap Dark Grey 25, Brown 1, and Beige 4 into the final bays. Ants eat the remaining facial features, hair, and hat crown to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Beige or White jars in the first phase → skin and shirt pixels are buried deep behind outer foliage, leaving those jars stalled in bays.
  • Filling all five bays with foliage colours while leaving no room for Brown and Orange → stalls the board when crate and hat pixels block further leaf clearance.

Quick tips for Level 26

  • Always match jars to the outermost perimeter pixels first; cyan and orange border pixels must go before interior face tones can be reached.
  • Keep at least one bay open when mystery jars sit behind front-row picks to avoid sudden bay lock.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture shows an explorer with binoculars surrounded by foliage, resting above five bays and a jar grid of four columns.
Goal
Clear all pixels of the explorer portrait by matching coloured jars to exposed pixels until every jar in the grid is spent.
Opening
Start with Cyan 30 and Orange 18 on the edges to clear exposed outer leaf highlights and crate outlines safely.
Trap
Tapping Beige jars while the face and arms are still shielded behind binoculars and foliage stalls the bay indefinitely.
Mechanic
Mystery jars reveal their true colour and number as soon as the jar directly in front is removed from the grid.

Level 26 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 26?

Tap Cyan 30 on the front row left. Cyan leaf tips form the exposed perimeter, letting ants clear the borders immediately.
