How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 24 — full solution
- With Yellow 37, Black 4, Yellow 39, Orange 30, and Yellow 31 already deployed in the bays, allow the yellow and orange ants to eat the outer moon and cushion edges. As Yellow 31 empties from the fifth bay, tap Light Blue 22 (front row, right) to target the exposed nightcap trim.
- Allow Yellow 37 and Yellow 39 to finish clearing pixels from the moon face. Tap Red 4 (front row, left) into the first free bay to target the cap pompom accent, then tap the revealed Black jar into the next bay to continue shaving the outer border.
- As Orange 30 and Light Blue 22 finish eating their targets, tap Black 30 (front row, centre) to keep black ants active along the boundary lines. Tap the revealed Red 6 behind it to continue clearing warm accents, exposing White 10 and Red 4 in the front row.
- When the small Black jar empties, tap Blue 4 (front row, right) into the freed bay. The blue ants begin stripping the exposed body of the nightcap while Black 30 and Red 4 continue whittling down the picture outlines.
- As Red and Black jars clear, tap Light Blue 25 (front row, centre) and Blue 40 (front row, right) to dig deeper into the sleeping cap. Tap Yellow 50 from the left column into an open bay to resume eating the exposed yellow moon body.
- Once the cap's primary blue sections clear, tap White 10 (front row, left) and White 20 (front row, right) to clear the sleeping cap pompom and highlights. Send Black 20 and Black 19 to the bays to eat the facial outlines and eye curves.
- Deploy Orange 20 (front row, centre) into an open bay to finish off the remaining orange cushion beneath the moon. Tap Black 13 and Black 6 into open bays to clean up the last segment outlines around the face.
- Tap Yellow 50 and the revealed Yellow 10 into the open bays. A swarm of yellow ants removes the remaining bulk of the crescent moon face, uncovering the final corner pixels.
- Send the final Yellow 6 jar into the leftmost bay. Yellow ants collect the last remaining pixels of the moon to complete the board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Blue 40 from the grid in the opening → the nightcap's deep blue center is fully enclosed by Light Blue trim and Yellow face pixels, leaving Blue 40 stalled in a bay.
- Sending White 20 into a bay before Black outlines around the pompom are eaten → white ants find no exposed pixels, tying up a bay slot unnecessarily.
Quick tips for Level 24
- Work from the outside in: crescent moons have large outer perimeters of Yellow and Orange that clear jars quickly and keep bays cycling.
- Hold high-count Blue and White jars until the outer boundaries of the nightcap have been completely stripped by Light Blue and Black ants.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture shows a smiling yellow crescent moon wearing a blue nightcap with light blue trim, resting on an orange base. Below the ant hole sit five bays, followed by a grid of jars four rows deep and three jars wide.
- Goal
- Completely devour all colored pixels of the sleeping moon and nightcap using matching colored jars from the grid.
- Opening
- Deploy Yellow and Orange jars first to strip the exposed bottom cushion and the outer crescent curve of the moon.
- Trap
- Blue 40 sits in the second row early on; tapping it before the Light Blue trim and Yellow borders are stripped will lock a bay for several rotations.
- Mechanic
- Ants can only consume pixels on exposed outer perimeters; interior colors cannot be harvested until adjacent outer layers are removed.
Level 24 questions
-
Why is my Blue jar stalled in Level 24?
The dark blue body of the nightcap is blocked by Light Blue borders and Yellow moon pixels. Strip those outer colors first before calling in blue ants.
