How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 224 — full solution
- Tap the Cyan 60 jar in the top-right and the Blue 30 jar in the top-middle to begin eating the upper sky and sea borders. This clears outer framing tiles without filling bays with internal body colours.
- Send the Yellow 45 jar from the top-left and the Light Blue 64 jar below it to eat the beach sand along the base and the lighter sky band.
- Release the Dark Grey 15 jar and Grey 45 jar to clear rock outlines and the bottom perimeter, freeing access to lower jars in the grid.
- Send the Orange 19 jar and Red Key jar to start eroding the carrot nose and send keys to the locked jar in the grid.
- Use the Yellow 20 jar and Cyan 60 jar to continue stripping the shoreline and background water while chipping the 3-hit wooden plank on the lower left.
- Tap the Purple 20 jar to begin clearing the snowman's purple top hat once the surrounding sky has peeled back.
- Deploy the revealed Mystery jar and the White 60 jar to consume the main melting snowman head and torso pixels as they become exposed.
- Send the Black and Dark Grey jars to finish the eyes, mouth, and buttons, followed by the final White jars to clean up remaining body pixels.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Red 3 jar or inner White jars immediately at the start → Red and White have very few exposed perimeter pixels, causing them to stall and choke your five bays while sky and sand remain uncollected.
- Ignoring the 3-hit plank on the bottom-left beach → pixels underneath stay completely blocked, leaving late jars stranded with no matching exposed tiles.
Quick tips for Level 224
- Focus on large border colours like Cyan, Light Blue, and Yellow first to strip the scene from the outside inward.
- Keep at least one bay completely open whenever exposing new layers to handle small detail colours like Orange and Red safely.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A pixel art portrait of a melting snowman with a purple hat and carrot nose on a beach with blue sky and ocean. Below the image is an ant hole, five empty bays, and a deep four-column grid of jars containing padlocks, keys, and mystery jars.
- Goal
- Eat all 1,000 pixels of the image using matching coloured jars.
- Opening
- Start with top-row jars matching exposed outer pixels: Cyan 60 for the sky and Yellow 45 for the bottom sand.
- Trap
- The White and Purple body and hat layers are locked behind multiple tiers of sky and outline tiles; tapping White jars prematurely will stall them indefinitely.
- Mechanic
- A 3-hit wooden plank covers part of the lower-left beach; jars with key icons unlock the padlock jar in the lower grid.
Level 224 questions
-
What should I clear first in Level 224?
