How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 221 — full solution
- Tap the Light Green 40 jar (row 1, column 1) and the Green 34 jar (row 1, column 3). Ants immediately start devouring the outer green grass base and surrounding foliage, clearing room in the front row.
- Tap the Blue 20 jar (row 1, column 2) and the Yellow 8 jar (row 1, column 4). Blue strips the musical notes and small floral highlights while Yellow clears the perimeter flower accents.
- Tap the Brown 14 jar (row 2, column 1) and the Purple 10 jar (row 2, column 2) once they become accessible. Brown clears the wooden base and flute while Purple takes out the purple flower bloom on the right.
- Tap the Cyan 15 jar (row 2, column 3) and the Light Green 26 jar (row 2, column 4). Cyan strips the clothing highlights and notes, unblocking lower rows.
- Tap the Grey 18 jar (row 3, column 1) and the revealed Light Green 42 jar (row 3, column 2). Grey clears the flute body and stones while Light Green strips the dense elf tunic.
- Tap the revealed Yellow 5 jar (row 3, column 3) and the Lilac 15 jar (row 3, column 4). Yellow consumes the headband details and Lilac clears the musical motifs, keeping bays cycling.
- Tap the newly unblocked Orange 20 jar, Blue 11 jar, and White 15 jar as the mystery jars clear. They strip the skin tones, hair accents, and shirt details.
- Tap the Dark Green 10 jar and Black 14 jar to remove the deep shadows and outlining from the elf's face and clothing.
- Tap the remaining Yellow 15 jar and Purple 17 jar to eat the lingering hair and hat pixels. The last pixels vanish into the ant hole to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Grey 18 jar too early → grey pixels on the flute and clothes are surrounded by green and brown, causing Grey to stall in a bay.
- Opening the Purple 17 jar while the floral motifs are still buried → purple has no exposed targets, blocking a critical bay slot.
Quick tips for Level 221
- Clear the outer grassy rim with Light Green and Green jars before targeting character body colours.
- Watch the mystery jars in the middle columns; uncover them early so you can match unexpected colours without choking the bays.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture shows an elf playing a flute on a grass meadow with musical notes and flowers. Below sits the ant hole, a rack of five empty bays, and a jar grid arranged four across by several rows deep with multiple mystery jars.
- Goal
- Clear the entire elf flutist portrait by matching ants to all exposed pixels across five bays without stalling the queue.
- Opening
- Start with the front Light Green 40 and Green 34 jars. They immediately consume the wide grass lawn at the bottom and sides.
- Trap
- Dark Green and Black pixels are trapped deep inside the figure's garments; tapping dark outline jars early fills bays with no immediate target.
- Mechanic
- Mystery jars hide their colour and count until jars blocking them in the grid are placed into bays.
