Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 99 Walkthrough
Level 99 features a vintage television complete with antennae, dial knobs, and two locked screen compartments. The winning strategy is to peel away the outer white canvas and yellow bezel first, then pull skewers to unlock inner screen colors without clogging slots. Avoid sending internal screen colors like Green or Red before their compartments are exposed.
How to beat Colony Flow! Level 99 — full solution
- Tap White 40 (front row, col 1), White 40 (front row, col 2), White 48 (row 2, col 1), Black 42 (front row, col 3), and White 40 (row 2, col 3). White ants strip the outer white canvas border, while Black 42 idles safely until the border exposes dark edge blocks. All five slots are filled.
- As the first White box finishes, tap Black 45 (front row, col 4) to clear the newly exposed antenna base alongside Black 42. When two White boxes empty, tap White 40 (row 3, col 2), Light Blue 10 (row 2, col 2), and Green 18 (row 3, col 1). Black and White finish, leaving two slots free.
- Tap White 40 (row 3, col 3) and Yellow 42 (row 4, col 1) to dislodge the first skewer. Immediately tap Yellow 35 (row 4, col 2). With all five slots packed and Green and Light Blue stalled, Yellow ants rapidly chew through the TV frame, preventing an imminent gridlock.
- Once White 40 and Yellow 42 clear, tap Black 45 (row 3, col 4) and Black 40 (row 2, col 3) to strip the television's dark bezel. Tap White 40 (row 2, col 4) and Light Blue 10 (row 2, col 2). Light Blue and Green ants begin dismantling the antenna and the 30-block screen compartment.
- Tap White 40 (row 3, col 3) and White 40 (row 3, col 4) into the newly freed slots. White ants clear the antenna highlights and TV cabinet border, allowing Green 18 and Light Blue 10 to drain completely and free up their slots.
- Tap Black 40 (row 3, col 1) to pull out the second skewer. Tap the released Cyan 12 (row 4, col 1), Yellow 35 (row 4, col 2), and Purple 12 (row 3, col 4). Cyan and Yellow ants pick apart the dials and casing while Black ants strip the speaker grille.
- Tap White 40 (row 3, col 4) to strip the remaining white screen background. As Yellow 35 and Purple 12 clear, tap Black 44 (front row, col 1). Black ants clear the speaker frame and dial surrounds, leaving three slots open.
- Tap Light Blue 10 (front row, col 2), Red 36 (row 2, col 2), and Green 18 (row 3, col 1). Green ants clear the remaining blocks on the left compartment to free the 30-key, while Red ants tackle the right 20-block compartment.
- With the screen compartments open, tap Brown 24 (row 2, col 2). Brown ants dismantle the wooden TV cabinet and stand. Tap Light Blue 40 (row 3, col 2), White 40 (row 2, col 3), and Yellow 35 (row 3, col 2) to clear the screen test bars.
- Tap Purple 12 (front row, col 3), Black 44 (front row, col 1), and Purple 12 (row 2, col 3). Purple and Black ants carry away the final dial indicators and screen pixels, completing the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Green 18 into a slot during the opening → the green screen compartment is buried behind the outer casing and bezel, leaving the box stalled in a slot.
- Tapping both Light Blue 10 and Green 18 while three White boxes are still working → all five slots become occupied with slow or stalled boxes, causing an instant fail if Yellow is not opened in time.
Quick tips for Level 99
- Prioritize pulling skewers early by targeting the lead box holding the pin, unlocking lower rows before upper options run dry.
- Use the large-count White and Black boxes to clear wide outer borders, ensuring internal colours are fully exposed before moving their boxes into slots.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A vintage television set with antenna rabbit ears sits atop a wooden cabinet. Two locked compartments (green 30 on the left, red 20 on the right) sit inside the screen, surrounded by a four-column stack below with two skewer pins holding rows together.
- Goal
- Clear all television and screen blocks from the canvas using 34 ant boxes.
- Opening
- Strip the outer white frame using the front White boxes before committing to colored boxes, then slip Black boxes in as the dark casing becomes exposed.
- Trap
- Tapping Green 18 or Light Blue 10 before their respective targets (the green screen box and the antenna) are exposed leaves them stuck in slots; filling all five slots with inactive boxes causes an immediate loss.
- Mechanic
- Skewer pins pin multiple boxes in a row together; tapping the unpinned head box pulls the skewer and releases the remaining boxes in that row.
Level 99 questions
-
How do I release the pinned boxes in Colony Flow! Level 99?
Tap the leftmost box threaded by the skewer (Yellow 42 for the first pin, Black 40 for the second). Tapping it pulls the pin free and unlocks the rest of the row.
-
Why does Green 18 get stuck in Level 99?
Green blocks are locked inside the left compartment on the television screen. They cannot be gathered until the outer casing and screen bezel are stripped away.
