Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 96 Walkthrough
Level 96 depicts a pixel-art lighthouse against a night sky and moon. Clear the outer sky and ocean layers with blue, purple, and light blue to expose the central red lighthouse and white clouds. Avoid clogging slots with yellow or red boxes before their corresponding blocks are uncovered.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 96 — full solution
- Release Blue 35 (front row, col 3), Purple 35 (front row, col 2), Red 25 (front row, col 1), and Light Blue 37 (front row, col 4). Blue and purple ants clear the ocean and lower border, exposing the lighthouse base for the red ants; four slots in use.
- Release Purple 39 (front row, col 4) into the slot freed by Blue 35. Purple, red, and light blue ants clear the surrounding sky and sea blocks; four slots in use.
- Release White 40 (front row, col 3), Blue 40 (front row, col 1), Purple 35 (front row, col 2), and Blue 35 (front row, col 2). White ants begin stripping the lower cloud layer while blue and purple clear the outer sky; all five slots active.
- Release Red 30 (front row, col 1), the linked Blue 40 + Purple 35 pair (front row, cols 2 and 3), and Yellow 33 (front row, col 4). Yellow ants start harvesting the moon at the top-left while red ants chip away at the lower tower; five slots occupied.
- Release Purple 32 (front row, col 4) and Red 35 (front row, col 3) into the newly freed slots. Purple ants clear the right sky edge while red strips the middle of the lighthouse; four slots in use.
- Release Purple 40 (front row, col 2), Yellow 35 (front row, col 1), Red 35 (front row, col 3), and Red 32 (front row, col 4). This aggressive push targets the central lighthouse structure and opens the lock chest; all five slots are occupied.
- Release Light Blue 35 (front row, col 2), Yellow 28 (front row, col 1), and Red 28 (front row, col 1). Yellow finishes clearing the top-left moon, while light blue strips the remaining mid-sky clouds; three slots in use.
- Release Light Blue 40 (front row, col 2), Purple 35 (front row, col 4), Red 28 (front row, col 1), White 32 (front row, col 2), and Light Blue 40 (front row, col 3). The clouds and outer sky dissolve rapidly, leaving only the upper tower; five slots in use.
- Release White 40 (front row, col 1), Purple 35 (front row, col 2), Red 28 (front row, col 1), and Purple 30 (front row, col 2). White and purple clear the upper cloud crests and final sky blocks, exposing the last red blocks; four slots in use.
- Release Red 30 (front row, col 1) into the open slot. The red ants carry away the final remaining blocks of the lighthouse tower, completing the picture and clearing the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Yellow 33 too early -> the yellow moon is deeply embedded in the upper-left sky, so the yellow box sits idle in a slot and constricts your buffer.
- Deploying the linked Blue 40 + Purple 35 pair with only one free slot -> linked boxes cannot move unless two slots are open, blocking progress.
Quick tips for Level 96
- Strip the exterior sky and water first to uncover the internal clouds and lighthouse structure.
- Keep at least two slots open whenever a linked pair reaches the front row of the stack.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A pixel picture of a lighthouse by the sea sits above two ant nests, five holding slots, and a four-column stack of ant boxes.
- Goal
- Clear all blocks from the pixel picture by draining 32 ant boxes through the 5 slots.
- Opening
- Send Blue 35, Purple 35, Red 25, and Light Blue 37 into the slots to peel away the lower ocean and border.
- Trap
- Opening Yellow 33 or Red boxes before the upper moon or central lighthouse blocks are exposed leaves them stuck in slots with zero progress.
- Mechanic
- A linked pair joins a Blue 40 and Purple 35 box, requiring two free slots to deploy simultaneously.
Level 96 questions
-
Which box should I tap first on Level 96?
Tap Blue 35 from the front row, third column. Its ants immediately clear exposed ocean blocks along the bottom edge.
