Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 509 Walkthrough
Level 509 depicts a seaside lighthouse resting above ocean water with a central 188-block counter structure. Clear the outer green, red, and dark purple layers first to expose the interior colours. Do not load black or light blue boxes until their target areas are uncovered.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 509 — full solution
- Tap Light Green 37 (front row, far right), Dark Purple 38 (front row, centre-right), Brown 13 (front row, far left), and Red 25 (front row, centre-left). These four boxes fill four slots, deploying ants to strip the perimeter grass, dark cliff base, and red lighthouse bands.
- Tap White 35 (row 2, centre-left) into the final empty slot. White ants immediately attack the lighthouse column and background sky, cycling out the initial boxes as their numbers drop.
- As Brown 13 and Red 25 clear out, tap Orange 15 (row 2, far right) and Light Blue 36 (row 2, far left). Orange and light blue ants remove the lighthouse lantern trim and the exposed upper sea waves, advancing the stack.
- Tap White 35 (row 2, centre-right) and Dark Purple 32 (row 3, centre-right). Dark purple and white ants strip the deeper left cliffs and inner tower blocks, freeing up slots as earlier boxes finish.
- Tap Yellow 5 (front row, far left), Red 36 (front row, centre-left), and Light Blue 32 (front row, centre-right). Yellow and red ants dismantle the remaining lighthouse cupola and roof sections, clearing space around the central brown structure.
- Tap Black 22 (front row, centre-right) and the linked Black 25 + Dark Purple 25 pair behind it. Black and dark purple ants remove the structural outlines and rocky foundation, whittling down the large brown counter obstacle.
- Tap Light Blue 34 (front row, far right), Light Blue 35 (row 2, far left), and Light Blue 24 (row 2, centre). Light blue ants swarm the wide expanse of ocean water as the brown block barrier drops to zero and vanishes.
- Tap White 35 (front row, left), Light Blue 32 (row 2, right), Light Blue 28 (row 3, right), and Light Blue 25 (bottom). The remaining white and light blue ants strip the final sky pixels and water surface to finish the board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Black 22 or linked Black 25 before the cliffs are stripped → black pixels are buried deep under dark purple and red layers, locking slots until those outer layers vanish.
- Tapping Light Blue 34 while the 188-block Brown counter still blocks the lower sea → light blue ants cannot reach the lower water, stalling the box.
Quick tips for Level 509
- Work through perimeter colours like green and dark purple first to uncover interior structures.
- Keep at least one slot open when tapping linked pairs so both boxes can slide in together without stalling.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A pixel canvas at the top portrays a lighthouse beside a cliff over water, obscured in the centre by a large brown obstacle box showing 188. Below sit five empty slots and a dense four-column stack.
- Goal
- Carry away all pixel blocks using ant boxes from the stack without jamming all five slots.
- Opening
- Tap Light Green 37, Dark Purple 38, Brown 13, and Red 25. All four colours have exposed edges right away, keeping the initial ants moving continuously.
- Trap
- The linked Black 25 and Dark Purple 25 boxes require two free slots and target inner outline blocks; tapping them before clearing outer cliff blocks traps two slots.
- Mechanic
- The brown 188 structure in the centre acts as a barrier that counts down and disappears once surrounding and underlying blocks are cleared.
Level 509 questions
-
What should I tap first on Level 509?
Tap Light Green 37, Dark Purple 38, Brown 13, and Red 25 from the front row. Their blocks are exposed along the outer edges, immediately freeing stack space.
