How to beat Colony Flow! Level 20 — full solution

  1. Tap the Pink 35 box (row 1, column 1), Pink 34 box (row 1, column 2), Pink 30 box (row 1, column 3), and Pink 35 box (row 1, column 4). This sends four Pink boxes into the slots to strip the outer background, leaving one slot free.
  2. Tap the Pink 35 box (row 2, column 2) and Pink 35 box (row 2, column 3) as the initial Pink boxes deplete and vacate slots. This continues clearing the background frame until the bottom plate is exposed.
  3. Tap the Brown 30 box (row 1, column 2), Brown 28 box (row 2, column 1), and Green 8 box (row 1, column 1). The Brown ants start removing the cake plate rim, while the Green ants clear the strawberry leaves.
  4. Tap the Black 25 box (row 1, column 2) and Black 25 box (row 1, column 3). Black ants carry away the outer crust and outlines of the cake.
  5. Tap the Yellow 36 box (row 1, column 4) and Yellow 28 box (row 2, column 1). Yellow ants pick away the exposed cake sponge beneath the icing.
  6. Tap the Red 30 box (row 1, column 4) and Red 30 box (row 2, column 2). Red ants take down the strawberry fruit and front cake layer.
  7. Tap the Dark Purple 10 box (row 2, column 3), Dark Purple 20 box (row 3, column 4), and Dark Purple 11 box (row 1, column 1). Dark purple ants clear the blueberries and dark drip outlines.
  8. Tap the Purple 25 box (row 1, column 2), Purple 30 box (row 2, column 4), and Yellow 30 box (row 1, column 3). Purple ants remove the jam icing while remaining yellow ants clean up the cake base.
  9. Tap the Pink 30 box (row 2, column 2), Pink 35 box (row 2, column 3), and Pink 30 box (row 2, column 4). Pink ants finish clearing the inner cream and remaining background blocks.
  10. Tap the Brown 25 box (row 1, column 2), Brown 35 box (row 2, column 3), and Black 10 box (row 1, column 3). Brown and black ants strip the remaining plate base and bottom border.
  11. Tap the Green 8 box (row 1, column 2) and Red 25 box (row 1, column 3). Ants clear the final remnants of the strawberry topping.
  12. Tap the Yellow 35 box (row 1, column 3), Yellow 30 box (row 2, column 3), and Yellow 32 box (row 2, column 4). Yellow ants eliminate the remaining interior sponge blocks.
  13. Tap the Dark Purple 10 box (row 1, column 2), Brown 36 box (row 2, column 2), and Hot Pink 38 box (row 2, column 4). Ants clear the final outlines, plate edges, and accent details.
  14. Tap the Red 32 box (row 1, column 4), Pink 35 box (row 2, column 4), and Pink 32 box (row 3, column 4). Ants clear the last perimeter blocks to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Yellow 36 box in the opening → yellow cake sponge is completely buried under the pink background and icing, so the box sits stuck in a slot indefinitely.
  • Tapping the Dark Purple 10 box before clearing the top icing → dark purple blueberries have no exposed blocks early on, locking a vital slot.

Quick tips for Level 20

  • Always match the active boxes to the outermost exposed pixel perimeter.
  • Wait for background pink blocks to clear around toppings before deploying interior color boxes like yellow or dark purple.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture is a strawberry cake on a serving plate surrounded by a light pink border. Below are two nest holes, five slots, and a dense stack of ant boxes.
Goal
Clear all colored pixel blocks composing the strawberry cake and background using ant boxes before time runs out (6m:00s timer).
Opening
Tap the four front-row Pink boxes to begin stripping away the outer background layer, which is immediately exposed on all four borders.
Trap
Tapping the Black 25 or Yellow 36 boxes before the surrounding pink perimeter has been carried away will stall them in the slots.
Mechanic
Boxes count down by one for each pixel carried into the nest hole. A box vacates its slot only when its counter reaches zero.

Level 20 questions

  • What should I tap first on Colony Flow! Level 20?

Tap the four front-row Pink boxes. Pink is the only color fully exposed along the outside perimeter at the start.

  • Why do my ant boxes stop moving on Level 20?

Boxes only send ants to exposed outer blocks. If inner colors like yellow or dark purple are tapped too early, they stall in the slots until outer layers are cleared.
