How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 82 — full solution
- Tap the Yellow 18 jar (row 1, col 1), Grey 27 jar (row 1, col 2), Orange 20 jar (row 1, col 3), and Black 27 jar (row 1, col 4). Yellow, Orange, and Black ants strip the outer bulb contour and cord, while Grey begins working on the lamp fixture.
- Tap the Purple 6 jar (revealed in row 1, col 2) and Orange 2 jar (front row, col 4). Purple targets the socket and decorative joints while Orange continues eating the bulb bottom, leaving bays available for cycling.
- Tap the Lilac 22 jar (uncovered in the middle) and White 11 jar (front row). Lilac and White ants eat the inner glow and plug elements while Black ants complete the cord framework.
- Tap the Black 38 jar (row 1, col 1) and Orange 13 jar (row 1, col 2) to continue stripping the cord and bottom casing. Keep Grey and Purple jars working in their bays.
- Tap the Grey 29 jar and Purple 10 jar as spaces open in the bay rack. Ants clean up the bulb connector ring and upper cord attachment.
- Tap the Grey 25 jar, Black 30 jar, and Key 20 jar (front row, centre). Collecting the Key jar removes the gold padlock on the column below.
- Tap the unlocked White 25 jar and Yellow 45 jar. White ants strip the exposed plug while Yellow eats into the core glow of the bulb.
- Tap the Orange 24 jar, Grey 4 jar, and Lilac 14 jar. They clear the remaining bulb glass perimeter and upper socket layers.
- Tap the Purple 5 jar, Yellow 11 jar, and Lilac 17 jar. Yellow and Lilac chew through the remaining filament pixels inside the bulb.
- Tap the Purple 6 jar, Lilac 15 jar, Yellow 43 jar, and Black 34 jar to clear the remaining fixture pixels and complete the picture.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the White jars before Black and Grey clear the plug casing → White has no exposed outer edge early on, causing the jar to stall indefinitely in a bay.
- Ignoring the Key 20 jar in the lower middle row → the padlock remains locked, trapping the large White and Yellow jars needed to finish the bulb core.
Quick tips for Level 82
- Clear Black and Grey jars early to break open the thick cord and socket, exposing inner layers of Lilac and White.
- Keep at least one bay open when cycling small counts like Purple 6 and Orange 2 to avoid gridlock.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A pixel-art hanging lamp with an illuminated yellow-orange bulb and a black power cord on the left. Below sit five empty bays and a jar grid arranged four jars wide.
- Goal
- Clear all pixels of the lamp illustration by matching ant colours across Black, Yellow, Orange, Lilac, Purple, White, and Grey.
- Opening
- Start by tapping the front row jars: Yellow 18, Grey 27, Orange 20, and Black 27. All four colours have immediately exposed outer pixels around the bulb and cord.
- Trap
- Leaving the locked jars trapped behind the Key 20 jar will stall progress once all outer bulb perimeter pixels are consumed.
- Mechanic
- Padlock and Key: a central jar column is locked with a padlock, which releases once the Key jar above it is tapped into play.
