How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 77 — full solution

  1. Tap Dark Grey 31 on the front-left, White 24 on the front-right, Dark Grey 10 behind it, and Yellow 21. Dark Grey and Yellow begin chewing the exposed chainsaw casing and handle, while White 24 waits in bay two because the inner blade is still enclosed.
  2. Tap Orange 10 from the front row, Purple 28, and Brown 3 as previous dark grey and yellow jars empty out. Orange and Brown strip outer engine accents, leaving three bays occupied and exposing deeper layers.
  3. Tap Cyan 30 on the front-left and Brown 7 into the free bays. Cyan ants swarm the outer teeth and electrical sparks along the chainsaw bar, stripping the edge to prepare the blade underneath.
  4. Tap Dark Grey 31, Orange 10, and Brown 1 into open bays as the cyan teeth clear completely. Dark grey ants remove the remaining outer chain track, finally exposing the interior blade.
  5. Tap Yellow 16, a second White 24, and Black 19 as earlier jars deplete. White 24 and Yellow 16 rapidly strip the motor housing and main blade surface across all active bays.
  6. Tap Yellow 27, Red 5, White 16, and Black 38 into available bays. These dismantle the dense handle grips and secondary motor sections, leaving only internal framework pixels.
  7. Tap Cyan 19, Grey 10, Black 40, and Brown 1 as the board clears down to the final handle and blade tip fragments. Three bays remain occupied while the final structure is disassembled.
  8. Tap White 16, Purple 44, and Orange 10 to absorb the last loose fragments. All five bays empty as the remaining ants carry the final pixels into the hole.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping White 24 from the front row without active outer colours → White pixels are buried deep inside the blade, stalling White 24 in a bay for the entire opening phase.
  • Loading Purple 28 and Black jars simultaneously while Cyan 30 is still running → the bays fill up completely before the inner mechanism pixels are uncovered.

Quick tips for Level 77

  • Prioritize Cyan jars whenever exposed; clearing the blade teeth opens up the entire central blade area.
  • Reserve at least two bays for active outline colours (Black, Dark Grey, Cyan) so stalled interior colours do not lock the board.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture shows a pixel-art chainsaw featuring a cyan blade edge, white/grey blade body, black handle, and yellow engine casing. Five bays sit above a multi-row grid of jars.
Goal
Clear all pixels of the chainsaw using matching coloured jars without filling all five bays with stalled jars.
Opening
Send Dark Grey 31 and Yellow 21 to eat exposed handle and casing pixels, avoiding tapping both white jars until an edge into the blade is exposed.
Trap
White 24 sits directly on the front row at the start, but blade pixels are completely sealed inside the chain and teeth outline.
Mechanic
Exposed pixels: interior colours such as White and Purple cannot be harvested until surrounding outline colours like Cyan and Black are stripped.

Level 77 questions

  • Why is my White 24 jar not moving in Level 77?

The chainsaw blade's white pixels are blocked by the cyan teeth and black frame. Tap Cyan and Dark Grey jars to strip the border first.
