Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 458 Walkthrough
Level 458 depicts a clown dog face wearing a party hat surrounded by colourful floating orbs. Strip the outer White and Black border pixels first before opening the inner facial details. Avoid tapping the exposed Red jar early, as red pixels remain buried until the face is cleared.

How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 458 — full solution
- Tap the White 52 jar (row 1, col 1), Black 36 jar (row 1, col 3), Blue 30 jar (row 1, col 4), and Yellow 20 jar (row 3, col 1). Leave Red 28 untouched in the front row. Ants eat the outer white face outline and black borders, leaving four bays active.
- Once Black 36 and Blue 30 clear, tap the Purple 12 jar (row 1, col 3), Yellow 24 jar (row 1, col 4), and the newly revealed White jars from the stack into the open bays. Ants aggressively chew away the outer cheeks and face, filling all five bays.
- Allow the White, Yellow, and Purple jars to finish. Tap the newly revealed Blue jar from the stack to strip exposed blue hat pixels, followed by the Pink 25 jar (row 1, col 1). The party hat and outer cheek spots shrink, leaving two bays occupied and three free.
- With the inner face exposed, tap the Yellow 12 jar into bay 1, Light Blue 15 jar into bay 2, Light Blue 9 jar into bay 3, and finally the Red 28 jar (row 1, col 2) into bay 4. Ants strip the eyes, eyebrows, and clown nose.
- As bays clear, tap the Blue 17 jar (bay 1), Light Blue 6 jar (bay 2), Black 26 jar (bay 3), and Hot Pink 10 jar (bay 5) while Red finishes. Ants remove the inner facial outlines, smile, and cheek blush, leaving all five bays working simultaneously.
- After Red, Light Blue, and Hot Pink finish, tap the White 10 jar (row 1) into bay 2 to clear residual white pixels while Blue and Black finish off the mouth and head outline. The lower face and collar area are now completely cleared.
- Tap the White 47 jar (bay 1), Blue 10 jar (bay 2), Orange 4 jar (bay 3), Purple 10 jar (bay 4), and Orange 8 jar (bay 5). Ants target the floating orbs and remaining hat details above the clown's head, filling all five bays.
- Tap the Light Green 12 jar (row 1, col 2) and the final Red 4 jar to eat the green circular spots and top hat stripes. The remaining red and green pixels disappear into the ant hole, completing the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Red 28 jar on row 1 immediately -> Red pixels are locked behind the outer White and Black layers, so the jar sits idle in a bay and restricts your buffer.
- Filling all five bays with high-count jars before clearing the outer border -> if none of the jars match the currently exposed outer layer, play stalls completely.
Quick tips for Level 458
- Clear outer outlines with White and Black first to uncover the inner facial features and colourful spots.
- Leave front-row jars whose colours are buried inside (like Red 28) until their corresponding pixels are fully exposed.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture depicts a clown dog face with a party hat and floating circular orbs. Below the ant hole are 5 bays and a 3-row grid containing 12 visible jars, several of which are Mystery jars hiding unknown colours.
- Goal
- Clear all coloured pixels from the clown dog image by dispatching matching jars into the bays until the 100-pixel counter reaches zero.
- Opening
- Send White 52, Black 36, Blue 30, and Yellow 20 to the bays to strip the outermost borders and exposed hat pixels, leaving Red 28 safely in the grid.
- Trap
- The Red 28 jar sits in the front row from the very start, but red pixels only exist in the nose, inner mouth, and hat stripes. Tapping it early stalls a bay for most of the opening.
- Mechanic
- Jars are stacked in layered columns. Clearing an active jar uncovers the jar or Mystery jar resting directly beneath it.
