Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle level guide
Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 442 Walkthrough
Clear the guitarist's outer outlines and green speaker box before touching inner details. Keep bays cycling while fresh jars feed into the grid from below. Avoid tapping Beige 26 early since face and skin pixels remain buried under clothing and outlines.

How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 442 — full solution
- Tap the Dark Grey 25 jar from the front row, right, along with incoming Blue, Cyan, Orange, and Purple jars. Ants strip the guitar neck, body outline, and shoes, lowering Dark Grey to 3 and Orange to 18 while occupying all five bays.
- Allow the Grey and Purple jars to finish clearing the shoes and legs, freeing two bays. Tap incoming Green and Yellow jars so ants begin chewing into the green speaker cabinet and outer hair highlights.
- Tap the Light Green 30 and Green 50 jars as they become accessible in the middle column. Ants devour the green amplifier box, reducing the green counter from 16 to 0 and emptying the green jars.
- Deploy Orange 23 and Dark Grey 40 from the grid into the freed bays. Ants eat away the guitar body, arms, and structural dark outlines, bringing Dark Grey down to 15.
- Bring in Light Blue 20 and the incoming Light Blue jars to take over the blue guitar body and upper shirt as the dark grey outlines dissolve, leaving two bays free as counts hit low single digits.
- Tap incoming Blue 10 and Dark Grey jars to finish the guitarist's torso and guitar headstock. Allow the remaining blue and light blue pixels to completely clear from the image.
- With the guitar and torso cleared, tap the Beige 26 jar (front row, left) and Lilac 27 jar behind it. Ants strip the exposed skin on the face, hands, and the purple pants.
- Tap the revealed Dark Grey, Brown, and Yellow jars into the available bays. Ants consume the remaining orange hair, face highlights, and the final guitar neck pixels.
- Tap the incoming Purple 14, Hot Pink 24, and Lilac 22 jars. Ants consume the last remaining pixels of the legs and speaker accents to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Beige 26 jar in the front row at the start → Beige skin on the face and hands is completely covered by outlines, hair, and clothing, stalling the jar in a bay for most of the level.
- Ignoring the Green speaker box early → Green jars stack up in the middle column, preventing new jars from feeding into the grid.
Quick tips for Level 442
- Work from the outer frame inward: clear the dark guitar outlines and the green amp first to uncover skin and clothing.
- Leave Beige 26 untouched on the grid until the head, hair, and torso outlines are stripped away.
- Keep at least one bay emptying quickly by matching jars to colours currently exposed in large clusters.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture depicts a pixel-art character sitting on a green amplifier playing an electric guitar. Below the ant hole are five bays, followed by a grid of jars that replenishes from below.
- Goal
- Clear all pixels of the guitarist and amplifier using matching coloured jars without filling all five bays with stalled colours.
- Opening
- Start with Dark Grey 25 and early blue/cyan/orange jars to clear the exposed outer edges and guitar neck.
- Trap
- Beige 26 sits in the front row from move one, but tapping it early wastes a bay because face and skin pixels are buried beneath hair, sunglasses, and clothes.
- Mechanic
- As front jars are cleared, jars behind them slide forward and additional jars feed in from the bottom queue.
Level 442 questions
-
When should I tap the Beige 26 jar on Level 442?
Wait until late in the level when the guitarist's hair, sunglasses, and guitar body have been cleared so the beige face and hand pixels are fully exposed.
