Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 420 Walkthrough
Level 420 depicts an otter inside a heart-shaped frame across six colours, starting with a locked fifth bay. Strip the outer lilac and hot pink frames before tapping grey and white jars for the animal's body. Unlocking the fifth bay prevents stalls when handling multiple dark grey and purple base jars.

How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 420 — full solution
- Tap the Lilac 26 jar (row 1, middle) and Purple 52 jar (row 1, right) to eat the outer purple and lilac border. Behind them, tap the White 43 jar, Hot Pink 46 jar, and Hot Pink 42 jar as they appear. The outer borders clear, leaving three bays occupied.
- Tap the White 61 jar (row 1, left) and Hot Pink 33 jar (row 2, left). As middle jars advance, tap the Grey 60 jar, Grey 49 jar, and Dark Grey 30 jar. Outer white corners and heart edges vanish, exposing the grey otter body with four bays filled.
- Wait for the Hot Pink 23 jar to finish clearing and exit. The Grey 25 jar, Grey 21 jar, and Dark Grey 1 jar continue feeding on the otter's ears, forehead, and dark outlines. One bay clears, leaving three active grey jars.
- Tap the Grey 52 jar, Lilac 3 jar, Grey 36 jar, and White 22 jar from the front row. The ants strip the outer grey arms and reveal the white chest patch. Four bays remain occupied while the otter's upper body empties out.
- Tap the Grey 18 jar, Lilac 39 jar, and Hot Pink 4 jar from the front row as earlier jars finish. These devour the remaining upper grey fur and adjacent hot pink heart segments. The bay rack stabilizes with three jars running and one bay open.
- Tap the White 56 jar (row 2, left), Hot Pink 20 jar (row 1, middle), and Dark Grey 10 jar (row 1, right). Use the pliers booster to cut the tape over the locked fifth bay. The white belly and facial features peel away, freeing the fifth bay for use.
- Tap the Hot Pink 43 jar, Grey 78 jar, and Grey 65 jar into the bays, followed by the Hot Pink 37 jar, Purple 64 jar, Hot Pink 13 jar, and White 16 jar. The otter's torso and heart interior clear, leaving the bottom purple base exposed.
- Tap the Dark Grey 13 jar, Dark Grey 40 jar, Hot Pink 38 jar, Hot Pink 53 jar, and Lilac 80 jar into the bays. These jars dismantle the dark tail stripes and inner heart backdrop. Four bays hold low-count jars as the board nears completion.
- Tap the Lilac 19 jar, Purple 43 jar, and White 30 jar from the front row. They devour the purple baseline platform, tail tip, and remaining white background remnants. Every pixel is consumed and the board clears.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping White 61 on the opening move → White pixels sit under the heart border, stalling the White 61 jar in bay 1 immediately.
- Tapping Grey 62 or Grey 48 before the hot pink heart outline is broken → The grey otter is completely enclosed, locking the bay until other colours clear.
Quick tips for Level 420
- Work from the outside of the heart inward: lilac and purple first, then hot pink, before attacking the central grey otter.
- Conserve bays strictly while the fifth bay remains taped shut; avoid having more than two incomplete colours at once.
- Match jar numbers to the exposed border thickness so jars clear quickly and return bay capacity.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- An otter framed by a heart and a purple ground bar sits at the top, with an ant hole above five bays (the fifth taped shut) and a 3x3 jar grid below.
- Goal
- Clear all pixels of the otter, heart frame, and base platform using matching coloured jars.
- Opening
- Tap Lilac 26 and Purple 52 in the front row, as their exposed border pixels are immediately accessible without risking a stall.
- Trap
- Tapping Grey or White jars before peeling the outer Lilac and Hot Pink heart outlines leaves jars stuck in the bays with no exposed matching pixels.
- Mechanic
- A locked bay taped shut restricts capacity to four bays until opened with the pliers booster or through progression.
