How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 408 — full solution

  1. Tap the Blue 28 jar and the Beige 26 jar from the front row. Ants eat into the programmer's blue shirt and beige arm, exposing deeper layers while leaving three bays open.
  2. Tap the Pink 20 jar, followed by the Blue 18, Dark Grey 16, and Black 50 jars as they unlock. All five bays fill as ants attack the outer computer casing, hair, and shirt.
  3. Tap the Blue 13 and Pink 15 jars as the earlier blue and pink jars finish. The shirt clears completely and the pink monitor frame continues to break down.
  4. Tap the Black 14 and Dark Grey 16 jars into freed bays. Ants eat away the programmer's hair and desk details, uncovering Yellow 19 and White 40 in the grid.
  5. Tap the Light Blue 12, Black 7, and Pink 9 jars. Ants consume the screen background and lettering, uncovering Cyan 20 and Yellow 15 in the jar grid.
  6. Tap the Yellow 19, White 40, and Light Blue 35 jars. Ants rapidly eat the yellow cat on the screen and the outer white speech bubble.
  7. Tap the Purple 3, Yellow 15, White 6, Cyan 20, and Pink 13 jars. The keyboard and cat are completely eaten, leaving only black text and fine outlines.
  8. Tap the Black 30 jar and Grey 17 jar to eat the speech bubble text and final outline pixels, clearing the board.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Yellow 19 jar too early → the yellow cat is completely enclosed inside the screen, so the yellow jar will stall in a bay until the casing and screen border are removed.
  • Tapping White 40 before the black text outline is reachable → white speech bubble pixels stall if surrounding elements block access.

Quick tips for Level 408

  • Work from the outer silhouette inward: shirt and skin first, then the monitor casing, and finally the cat.
  • Avoid filling the bays with multiple black jars simultaneously, as black pixels appear across several separate small details.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A pixel art picture showing an office worker at a desk typing with a speech bubble 'abc...' and a cat on the monitor. Five bays sit between the ant hole and a staggered jar grid.
Goal
Clear all pixels from the picture by deploying matching coloured jars into the bays.
Opening
Tap Blue 28 and Beige 26 to clear the fully exposed blue shirt and skin layers safely.
Trap
Tapping yellow jars before the computer screen is opened up stalls a bay for a long duration.
Mechanic
Standard layer peeling where inner picture pixels (cat, screen) cannot be targeted until outer borders (monitor, desk) are stripped.

Level 408 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 408?

Tap the Blue 28 and Beige 26 jars in the front row, as the blue shirt and beige face are fully exposed at the start.

  • Why is my Yellow jar not emptying on Level 408?

The yellow cat is encased inside the computer screen. Clear the pink frame and screen borders first to expose yellow pixels.
