How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 296 — full solution
- Tap the Cyan 30 jar (front row, far left), Dark Grey 24 jar (front row, third from left), and Yellow 33 jar (front row, far right). These jars consume the outermost perimeter border of the emblem.
- Tap the revealed Light Blue 28 jar and front-row Light Blue 26 jar, followed by the newly exposed Red 20 jar. Ants eat away the circular background framing the bird, freeing up bays.
- Send in the Orange 25 jar, Light Blue 25 jar, and the revealed Green 20 jar. The ants clear the circular rim and start chipping into the outer wing outlines.
- Tap the revealed Purple 20 jar, Yellow 30 jar, and the mystery jar beneath which reveals Cyan 30. The edge plumage of the wings begins to peel away.
- Deploy the revealed Green 16 jar, Light Blue 10 jar, and Orange 30 jar to strip down the outer feather tips and the crest atop the bird's head.
- Tap the remaining Purple 30 jar and Yellow 20 jars. These deplete the exposed secondary feathers along the upper wings and crown.
- Release the Dark Grey 20 jar and Red 20 jar to eat into the core body and wing joints, unlocking the central bird structure.
- Tap the final Red and Yellow jars as the core heart and beak are uncovered, completely finishing the bird emblem.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping inner Red jars before the blue and cyan circular frame is cleared → Red has no exposed pixels initially, causing the jar to stall indefinitely in a bay.
- Opening both mystery jars simultaneously without an empty bay buffer → unrevealed colours risk stalling if their matching pixels are still buried.
Quick tips for Level 296
- Always match jars to the outermost perimeter ring before touching jars that target the central phoenix.
- Maintain at least two empty bays whenever revealing mystery jars in the lower grid rows.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A circular pixel-art emblem featuring a phoenix with outstretched wings and a crown, bordered by alternating cyan, light blue, and grey tiles. A grid of 16 jars sits below 5 holding bays.
- Goal
- Clear all pixels from the emblem by feeding matching ants from jars into the 5 available bays.
- Opening
- Start by selecting Cyan 30 and Dark Grey 24 from the front row, as their colours are prominently exposed on the outer rim.
- Trap
- The Red jars in the second and third rows are tempting but will stall early because the red body of the bird is completely insulated by yellow and cyan layers.
- Mechanic
- Mystery jars marked with a question mark uncover their colour and count only after the jar in front of them is tapped and removed.
