How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 268 — full solution

  1. Tap the Cyan 33, Lilac 26, Purple 28, and Lilac 25 jars across the front row, then follow with Blue 42, Light Blue 30, and Cyan 30. This clears the bottom water ripples and outer frame edges while opening space for interior jars.
  2. Tap the Light Blue 1, Dark Grey 40, and Cyan 16 jars, followed by Yellow 44 and Pink 25. Ants eat the lower border strips and peripheral water pixels, bringing Yellow 28, Purple 1, White 20, and Grey 39 into the bays.
  3. Release the remaining White jars (White 42, White 3, and White 20) alongside Yellow 17. The ants clear the white background segments along the edges and sides of the frame, exposing the outer turtle contour.
  4. Tap Orange 20, Dark Grey 3, White 23, and Yellow 12 as they reach the front of the grid. This removes the orange stripe sections from the sky and trims the dark outline along the base of the turtle.
  5. Send Purple 28, White 36, and Dark Grey 40 to the bays, followed by Yellow 59. The dark ants start eating the turtle's flippers and lower shell outline, while purple clears the frame corners.
  6. Deploy Cyan 37, Dark Grey 32, and White 31, followed by Yellow 55 and Yellow 42. These jars consume the remaining blue water and begin carving away the green turtle body beneath the duck.
  7. Tap Green 15, Green 25, and Dark Green jars to strip away the turtle shell completely. This uncovers the yellow underside and beak of the duck as well as the remaining orange sunset stripes.
  8. Tap Orange 34, Yellow 57, and White 22. Ants clear the orange sky bands behind the duck's head and the white sky patches along the top edge.
  9. Send Purple 13, Dark Grey 15, White 21, Orange 7, and Yellow 16 to the bays. These jars eat the dark outline of the duck, the eye, and the outer frame accents.
  10. Tap Yellow 35 and White 14. Yellow ants consume the body and head of the duck while white cleans up the final corner pixels to complete the board.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Dark Grey 40 or Dark Grey 32 too early → dark outline pixels on the duck and turtle are buried inside color blocks, leaving grey jars stalled in bays.
  • Filling all bays with Yellow jars before green shell pixels are gone → the duck's body is blocked from below, clogging the rack.

Quick tips for Level 268

  • Prioritize water and frame colors (Cyan, Blue, Lilac) to expose inner outline pixels naturally.
  • Keep at least one bay open when handling high-count Yellow and White jars so you do not freeze if an outline stall occurs.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A pixel canvas depicts a yellow duck perched on a green turtle over blue water against a striped orange-and-yellow sky. A grid of jars sits below four active bays and one locked bay.
Goal
Eat every pixel of the picture by matching jar colors to exposed outer pixels until the board is clear.
Opening
Tap Cyan 33, Lilac 26, Purple 28, and Lilac 25 to safely strip the lower pool and framing borders.
Trap
Tapping Dark Grey outline jars before adjacent shell and sky colors are eaten leaves the jars stalled in your bays.
Mechanic
Only outer exposed pixels can be eaten; pixels enclosed by other colors cannot be targeted until the perimeter is stripped.

Level 268 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 268?

Start with the front-row Cyan, Lilac, and Purple jars to clear the exposed frame corners and bottom water pixels.

  • Why are my Dark Grey jars not counting down?

Dark Grey represents inner outlines around the duck and turtle shell. You must strip the surrounding green, yellow, and sky pixels before the ants can reach them.
