How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 266 — full solution

  1. Tap the Orange 42 jar (row 1, col 2), the White 50 jar (row 1, col 3), and the Orange 40 jar (row 1, col 4). This feeds outer orange and white edge pixels and clears the front row.
  2. Tap the Black 30 jar (row 2, col 3) and the White 50 jar (row 2, col 4). Black and white border ants start stripping inward layers.
  3. Tap the Yellow 20 jar (row 4, col 1) and the Key jar (row 4, col 2). The key unlocks the locked jar in row 2, col 1, freeing up room for yellow border sections.
  4. Tap the unlocked Green padlock jar (now White 30) and the Grey 30 jar behind it. White and neutral pixels clear from the bottom corners.
  5. Tap the Orange 40 jar (row 2, col 3) and Yellow 30 jar (row 2, col 2) as bays free up, depleting the surrounding wedge colors.
  6. Tap the Brown 20 jar (row 3, col 2) and Black 30 jar (row 3, col 3) to begin dismantling the lower segment frame and outer ring.
  7. Tap the Hammer/Key jars remaining in the lower column stack to hit the Plank, dropping its counter from 3 down to 1.
  8. Tap the remaining Brown, Orange, and Yellow jars (Brown 60, Orange 40, Yellow 26) to strip the central pulp wedges.
  9. Tap the final White and Yellow jars from the reserve row. The remaining mosaic pieces dissolve into the ant hole to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping inner pulp jars like Brown 20 or Yellow 30 before clearing the outer Orange 42 and Black 30 edges → inner pixels are blocked, stalling jars indefinitely in the bays.
  • Ignoring the Key jar in the front-left stack → leaves the locked jar stranded and blocks access to crucial White and Grey counters beneath it.

Quick tips for Level 266

  • Work from the outside border inwards: Orange and White rim pixels must clear before center citrus segments are exposed.
  • Keep at least one bay open when taking Key jars to avoid being locked when chained jars deploy.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A symmetrical square mosaic depicting citrus wedges with an orange and yellow border, dark accents, and a 3-hit Plank covering the bottom center.
Goal
Eat all pixel tiles from the mosaic using ants dispatched from jars in the grid.
Opening
Start by tapping the front Orange and White jars (Orange 42, White 50, Orange 40) to strip the exposed outer perimeter.
Trap
The inner Brown and Black wedge accents are locked beneath perimeter pixels; tapping their jars early causes fatal stalls.
Mechanic
Features a 3-hit Plank masking central pixels and a Padlock requiring a Key jar to release the second-row stack.

Level 266 questions

  • How do I remove the Plank in Level 266?

Collect keys and activate hammer hits from sequence jars in the center bottom stack to reduce the Plank count from 3 to 0.
