How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 231 — full solution

  1. Tap Dark Blue 21 (front row, left), Cyan 14 (front row, third), White 10 (front row, right), and Blue 15 (front row, second). Ants clear the glass coupe rim and bowl highlights, reducing the board counter from 600 toward 490.
  2. Send in Grey 14 (row 2, right), Grey 23 (front row, left), Purple 6 (front row, third), and Pink 8 (front row, right). These chew through the dark outline of the bowl base, the wafer straw, and strawberry edges, leaving one bay free.
  3. Tap Pink 22 (front row, left), White 25 (row 2, left), Purple 20 (row 1, left), and Purple 8 (row 1, second). The ants strip the outer strawberries and whipped cream trim, lowering the total pixel counter to around 350.
  4. Dispatch Purple 11 (row 1, third), Red 22 (front row, left), Grey 6 (row 2, centre), and Dark Grey 2 (row 2, right). The strawberry bodies and dish base pixels are consumed, exposing the bottom of the pudding.
  5. Tap Light Blue 54, Red 15, Orange 31, and Cyan 18 as they reach the front row. This is the crucial transition where the rest of the bowl and strawberry garnishes disappear, uncovering the central custard.
  6. Deploy Beige 10, Beige 34, Green 7, and Dark Green 24. Ants devour the mint leaves and the lighter custard sides of the pudding, bringing the main counter down to under 150.
  7. Send in Brown 38, Green 11, Red 15, and Beige 28 into available bays. The strawberry highlights and mid-custard body are completely cleared, leaving only the caramel syrup and final custard core.
  8. Tap Light Green 4, Cyan 6, White 24, and Beige 5 to strip the remaining dessert base and plate highlights. Two bays remain open as the caramel crust is exposed.
  9. Tap Orange 38, Brown 32, Dark Grey 32, and Orange 19 as the final grid rows advance. These ants begin carving away the dense caramel sauce along the top of the dessert.
  10. Finish by tapping Orange 8, White 3, and Brown 10. The ants clear the last bits of caramel syrup and topping to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Orange 31 or Brown 38 while the glass bowl is still intact → Orange and Brown pixels are completely trapped inside the pudding topping, causing the jars to stall and block bays early.
  • Tapping Green 7 before the strawberry leaves are exposed → green pixels remain buried behind the dark outline, locking a bay unnecessarily.

Quick tips for Level 231

  • Work from the bowl base and side fruit inward; the dessert layers cannot be eaten until the glass stand below is dismantled.
  • Keep at least one bay empty when queuing up large count jars like Light Blue 54 so quick small-count jars can rotate through.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A 600-pixel pudding cup illustration sits above five bays, supported by a three-row jar grid that feeds additional jars from below as columns clear.
Goal
Completely eat all 600 pixels of the dessert, bowl, and fruit garnishes by matching colored jars to exposed edges.
Opening
Tap Dark Blue 21, Cyan 14, White 10, and Blue 15 to clear the outer bowl edges immediately without risk of stalling.
Trap
Orange and Brown jars appearing mid-game will stall if tapped before the outer custard and strawberry layers are fully peeled away.
Mechanic
Jars in the grid feed upward continuously as front jars leave, revealing new colors hidden in deeper rows.

Level 231 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 231?

Start with Dark Blue 21, Cyan 14, White 10, and Blue 15 across the front row to clear the glass bowl edges and free up early grid slots.

  • Why is my Orange jar not counting down on Level 231?

Orange pixels make up the caramel syrup on top of the pudding. They cannot be eaten until the whipped cream, strawberries, and surrounding custard are cleared away first.
