Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 2 Walkthrough
Level 2 features a calico cat pixel portrait using four colours. Send exposed border colours into the bays first so ants can strip the outer outline and reveal the inner white body. Avoid loading large white jars before outer edges clear.

How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 2 — full solution
- Tap the Grey 60 jar at the front left of the grid. Grey ants head through the ant hole to eat the cat's outer body outlines, taking up bay 1.
- Tap the Orange 10 jar at the front right of the grid. Orange ants immediately clear the exposed ear patches, taking up bay 2.
- Tap the White 60 jar at the front centre of the grid. White ants begin nibbling the exposed face edges, occupying bay 3.
- Tap the Black 41 jar revealed in the front row. Black ants target the dark ear tips, eyes, and whiskers, occupying bay 4.
- Tap the Grey 55 jar revealed in the front row. Grey ants eat further edge shading alongside the first grey jar, filling all five bays.
- Once the Orange 10 jar finishes and frees bay 2, tap the Black 53 jar from the front row. Black ants eat through the thick outline around the paws and chin.
- As the Black 41 jar empties and frees bay 4, tap the Orange 24 jar from the front row. Orange ants chew away the forehead markings and chest stripe.
- When the Grey 55 jar leaves bay 5, tap the Black 4 jar from the front row. Black ants clear the remaining paw outlines; this is the most critical phase to fully uncover the white core.
- Once the Black 4 jar finishes, tap the Orange 30 jar from the front row. Orange ants finish off the remaining orange tie pixels, leaving two bays free.
- Tap the final White 63 jar into bay 3 once the earlier white jar and black outlines finish. White ants clear the remaining face and belly pixels to complete the picture.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the White 63 jar while black outline jars remain unplayed → inner white pixels stay blocked by the black outline, stalling white jars in the bays.
- Filling all five bays with inner colours before clearing the outer Grey and Black outlines → ants have no exposed pixels to target, causing a board lock.
Quick tips for Level 2
- Prioritise jars whose colours form the outermost silhouette of the image so ants always have active targets.
- Keep track of bay capacity and wait for small-count jars like Orange 10 or Black 4 to exit before introducing large jars.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A square pixel canvas at the top depicts a sitting calico cat. Below sits a round ant hole, a row of five empty bays, and a multi-row jar grid at the bottom.
- Goal
- Clear all pixel tiles across four colours (Grey, Orange, White, and Black) to finish the cat portrait.
- Opening
- Start by tapping the front Grey 60, Orange 10, and White 60 jars. These target the immediate exterior of the cat without clogging bays.
- Trap
- The White 63 jar is dangerous if tapped too early, because most white pixels are trapped behind the Black outline and Grey base.
- Mechanic
- Each jar sends ants that only consume exposed outer pixels of their matching colour. Jars clear from bays only when their count reaches zero.
Level 2 questions
-
What should I tap first in Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 2?
Tap the Grey 60, Orange 10, and White 60 jars from the front row to clear outer pixels and expose jars behind them.
-
Why are my White jars stalled in the bays on Level 2?
White pixels make up the cat's interior face and chest, which are blocked by Black outlines. Clear the Black jars first to expose the White tiles.
