How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 178 — full solution
- Tap the Orange 25 jar (front row, right), the Beige 11 jar (row 2, second from left), and the Dark Green 23 jar (front row, left). Ants eat the outer orange petal tips, the ground beige pixels, and the outer green vine segments.
- Tap the Light Green 24 jar (row 2, right) and the Grey 21 jar (front row, second from left). Ants begin clearing the grey stem and the green foliage around the base, keeping four bays cycling while Beige finishes.
- Tap the Orange 12 jar (row 1, right) and the Yellow 10 jar (row 2, third from left). Orange and yellow ants chip away at the sunflower's outer petal trim while clearing the lower flame elements.
- Tap the Key 6 jar (showing green arrow) and the Light Blue 11 jar. The key flies to unlock the red padlock, while light blue ants remove exposed water drop pixels near the sprout.
- Tap the unlocked Red 20 jar and the Orange 13 jar. Red ants consume the exposed red eye core and sunflower rim, and orange ants continue stripping the mid-layer petals.
- Tap the Black 26 jar and the Yellow 17 jar. Black ants clear the dark outlines and inner eye borders, while yellow ants clear the bright petals surrounding the flower head.
- Tap the Orange 21 jar and the White 18 jar. These clear the inner white eye highlight and remaining outer petal segments.
- Tap the remaining Yellow 2 jar, Orange 12 jar, and Black 3 jar in order. They eat the final remaining core pixels and outline remnants to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Red 20 or central White jars before stripping outer orange and yellow petals → Red and White have almost no exposed pixels initially, causing jars to stall in bays and run out of room.
- Ignoring the Key jar early on → leaves the Red 20 jar locked behind its padlock, blocking access to column progression.
Quick tips for Level 178
- Focus on exposed petal tips (Orange and Yellow) to strip layers inward toward the central eye.
- Keep at least one bay open when queueing multi-layer colors like Black and Grey.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A sunflower with an eye motif sits above a soil bed, with a sprout on the left and a small flame on the right. Below are five bays and a multi-row grid of jars including locked and key jars.
- Goal
- Clear all pixels of the sunflower scene, including breaking the two numbered planks (50 and 50).
- Opening
- Start with Orange 25, Beige 11, and Dark Green 23 to eat the outer tips, base soil, and sprout outline.
- Trap
- Tapping high-count inner jars like Red 20 or inner White before their pixels are uncovered will permanently stall bays.
- Mechanic
- Key jars unlock padlocked jars in the lower grid. Planks cover pixel sections until struck by ant progress.
