How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 177 — full solution

  1. Tap Light Green 32 (front row, left) and Light Green 15 (front row, right). Their ants start stripping the exposed grass patches at the bottom edges of the picture, opening access to the row behind them.
  2. Tap Cyan 25 (row 2, right) and Grey 16 (row 2, middle). Cyan ants gather the cyan arrow and bow accents while grey ants tackle arrow details, freeing two bay positions as the lower grass finishes clearing.
  3. Tap Light Green 28 (row 2, left) and Brown 36 (row 3, left). Light green ants finish the remaining ground line, and brown ants target the archer's bow limb and boots, uncovering the interior layers.
  4. Tap Light Green 32 (row 3, right), Brown 36 (row 4, left), and Purple 22 (row 4, middle). Purple ants begin eating the archer's sleeves and cloak while brown finishes peeling the bow structure.
  5. Tap Dark Grey 50 (row 4, right) and Grey 64 (row 5, right). Ants eat the bow string, metal tips, and glove trim, clearing out both grey jars once their pixel counts drain.
  6. Tap Beige 18 (row 6, left), White 18 (row 5, middle), and Light Green 32 (row 5, right). Beige ants eat the exposed skin of the archer's face and hands, while white removes the collar and shirt edges.
  7. Tap Yellow 19 (row 6, right) and Brown 50 (row 6, middle). Yellow ants eat the feather tip and belt buckle, and brown cleans up the inner tunic and boot accents.
  8. Tap Beige 23 (row 7, middle), Beige 30 (row 7, right), and Grey 26 (row 7, left). These clear the rest of the facial details and internal shading, opening the final hidden row.
  9. Tap Grey 9 (row 8, left), Light Green 32 (row 8, right), and Purple 28 (row 9, middle). Ants finish off the purple cape, hat brim, and upper tunic pixels to complete the picture.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Yellow 19 jar early while the archer's hat and belt are still concealed → yellow has no exposed edges, causing the jar to stall indefinitely in a bay.
  • Loading the Purple 22 jar before stripping the outer brown bow and green tunic border → purple ants cannot reach the interior cloak, clogging the queue.

Quick tips for Level 177

  • Work from the outer borders inward by exhausting light green ground pixels before targeting the archer's body.
  • Keep at least one bay open when revealing jars from lower rows to accommodate high-value background colors.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The board depicts an archer aiming a bow surrounded by grass at the bottom. Five empty bays sit above a deep staggered jar grid.
Goal
Feed 600 pixels across nine colors to the ants until the entire archer artwork is cleared.
Opening
Start by tapping the front-row Light Green 32 and Light Green 15 jars, which immediately feed on the fully exposed ground.
Trap
Yellow and purple details sit deep within the hat and cloak; selecting Yellow 19 or Purple 22 before clearing outer layers stalls your bays.
Mechanic
Standard clearance puzzle where jars release matching ants upon tapping and free their bay once their counter hits zero.

Level 177 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 177?

Tap Light Green 32 on the left and Light Green 15 on the right to strip the ground layer and expose the bow.

  • Why did my yellow jar get stuck?

Yellow pixels only exist on the feather and belt buckle, which are buried behind brown, purple, and green outer pixels.
