Level 85 requires peeling away the outer yellow and red framing before uncovering the calico cat beneath. Work down the linked pairs to reach key icons that free locked boxes in the stack. Stalling all five slots with buried inner colors is the primary danger.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 85 — full solution
- Tap the Yellow 149 box (row 1, column 2), the linked Red 120 and Red 72 pair (row 1, columns 3 and 4), the Black 80 box (row 2, column 2), and the White 40 box (row 2, column 4). Ants clear the outer yellow background, red border, and exposed white edges, filling all five slots as numbers tick down.
- As the first Yellow and White boxes empty their counts and clear from the slots, tap the diagonally linked Orange 25 and Yellow 40 pair. Ants strip away the outer orange border blocks and uncover the Green key embedded near the top-right corner of the picture.
- Tap the Orange 35 box linked diagonally to the Brown 15 box below it. Orange ants carry off the bright fur sections on the cat's tail and back, freeing up slots once the Black 80 box finishes emptying.
- With the Green key retrieved by the ants, the locked Green box unlocks in row 2. Tap the revealed box along with the adjacent Orange 35 box in row 2, continuing to dismantle the upper orange patches and clearing two slots.
- Tap the Red 42 box linked diagonally to the Black 40 box in row 1. Red and black ants strip the darker border under the cat's belly and lower trim, opening paths toward the central body tiles.
- Tap the Beige 75 box (row 1, column 1) and the White 38 box linked to the White 75 box below it. Ants swarm the broad white and beige body patches of the cat, carrying away blocks around the embedded Yellow key.
