How to beat Colony Flow! Level 548 — full solution

  1. Tap the Beige 38 box in the front row. Its ants clear the exposed cream border along the top and left edges.
  2. Tap the Light Green 40 box and Light Green 25 box from the stack. They remove the green grass patches at the bottom corners.
  3. Tap the Brown 25 box and Brown 30 box on the left side of the stack. They harvest the exposed dark outlines of the butterflies and deer legs.
  4. Tap the linked Purple 25 and Black 25 pair in the front row. They reveal the underlying mystery box while clearing inner shadow pixels.
  5. Tap the Beige 25 box and Beige 23 box from the uncovered front row. They clear the inner body spots and butterfly wings.
  6. Tap the Yellow 40 box and Yellow 30 box. They strip the butterfly bodies, ear highlights, and yellow border accents.
  7. Tap the Orange 35 box and Orange 45 box. They dismantle the outer fur and back sections of the deer.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Orange 45 box early while inner layers are still covered → orange blocks are trapped beneath outer beige and brown lines, clogging a slot indefinitely.

Quick tips for Level 548

  • Clear background grass (Light Green) and border (Beige) first to open up multiple access points to the central deer.
  • Linked boxes require two free slots simultaneously, so keep at least two slots open before tapping linked pairs.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture shows a small deer with butterflies on a cream and light green background. Below the nest sits a 5-bay slot bar, over a deep stack of coloured ant boxes containing linked pairs and a mystery box.
Goal
Carry away all blocks from the pixel picture using ants from the stack boxes without stalling the 5 slots.
Opening
Start by tapping the front Beige 38 box to strip the expansive cream background edge, followed by Light Green to remove the bottom grass.
Trap
The inner Orange boxes can easily lock up slots if sent out before the beige spots and outer brown borders are cleared away.
Mechanic
Linked vertical or horizontal box pairs occupy two slots at once when tapped and must be timed when slots are clear.
