How to beat Colony Flow! Level 539 — full solution

  1. Tap the White 35 box in the front row, right, and the Light Blue 34 box in the front row, middle. Ants collect outer sky and background blocks from the top edges, clearing space while White 28, Beige 29, and Beige 25 work down.
  2. Tap the Green 35 box in the front row, left. Ants begin harvesting exposed green canopy leaves along the top border, freeing two slots as earlier perimeter boxes deplete.
  3. Tap the Red 21 box in the newly exposed front-left slot and the Green 28 box in the middle. The ants dismantle the upper tree branches and trim red boundary pixels, pulling deeper layers into view.
  4. Tap the Orange and Brown boxes that surface from behind the initial stack, including Orange 23, Orange 17, and Brown 10. Ants target the outer edges of the central fox silhouette and the brown ridgeline.
  5. Tap the Green 35 and Green 30 boxes from the front row as they become accessible. Ants clear out the dense foliage blocks across the top half of the board, leaving one slot open.
  6. Tap the Light Blue 35, Light Blue 30, and Light Blue 30 boxes across the newly unlocked front row. Ants finish off the upper sky backdrop, fully revealing the remaining brown mountain outline and fox body.
  7. Tap the Beige 30 and Beige 28 boxes along with revealed Grey mystery boxes to clear the remaining sand layers and the inner grey details of the fox.
  8. Tap the final Beige 26 and remaining Orange and Brown boxes in any order. The ants strip the last blocks from the dunes and fox figure until the board is completely empty.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Orange boxes early → orange blocks form the central fox body and are fully surrounded by brown ridges and beige sand, so orange boxes stall in slots and cause a deadlock.
  • Loading multiple Light Blue boxes before green leaves are cleared → light blue sky blocks are heavily sheltered under the top foliage canopy, leaving light blue ants with no accessible blocks to carry.

Quick tips for Level 539

  • Work from the outer foliage and sand borders inward before attempting to collect the central fox.
  • Keep at least two slots available when unlocking mystery boxes so that unexposed colors do not trigger a game over.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A pixel art image depicts an orange fox nestled between beige dunes under a brown ridgeline, with green leaves and a light blue sky above. Below the nest are five slots and a deep 3-column stack of ant boxes.
Goal
Empty the entire pixel board by deploying ant boxes into the five slots without filling all slots with stuck boxes. There is no countdown timer.
Opening
Start by clearing White 35 and Light Blue 34 to begin peeling away the upper perimeter while the starting boxes clear out.
Trap
The Orange boxes buried deep in the stack will get stuck if brought into slots while the fox is still completely encased by the brown frame and beige dunes.
Mechanic
Mystery boxes marked with question marks occupy several positions deeper in the stack and reveal their true colors only when reaching the front row.
