How to beat Colony Flow! Level 538 — full solution
- Tap the Green 30 box from the front row, middle of the stack. Its ants strip away the lower-left green border tiles while Red 15, Green 34, and White 15 continue chewing their respective blocks.
- Send the Red 20, Red 7, and Black 2 boxes into the open slots as Green 34 finishes. This reveals the Black 45 box in the stack while chipping away the pirate's coat and hat trim.
- Tap the Black 45 box from the stack into an available slot, uncovering the Red 53 box behind it. The black ants strip away the brim of the pirate hat and boots.
- Deploy Green 17 and Red 53 once earlier boxes expire. The green ants clear out the outer right edge of the frame, releasing the blue key and unlocking the left padlock.
- Tap the White 10 and Beige boxes to begin harvesting the sword blade and pirate face. The yellow key clears from the background, opening the right padlock.
- Deploy the Green 35 boxes from the left and the newly unlocked boxes across the stack. Large swathes of the green background peel away to expose the core pirate figure.
- Send in the Brown 5 and Yellow 22 boxes alongside the remaining Green boxes. The yellow ants strip the hair and belt buckle, while brown removes the boots and sword hilt.
- Send in the final Green 30 and Black boxes to clear the remaining background fragments and top hat edges, emptying the board completely.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping inner-detail boxes like Yellow 22 or Brown 5 too early → their target pixels are buried deep under Green and Red, causing them to sit stalled in slots and trigger an overflow.
- Ignoring the padlock keys inside the green field → failing to clear the green tiles hiding keys leaves the locked stack columns trapped until late.
Quick tips for Level 538
- Clear outer Green background pixels first to ensure all embedded keys are collected early.
- Keep at least one slot completely free so rapid-cycling boxes do not cause a bottleneck.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A pixel-art pirate in a red coat with a black hat on a solid green background. Five slots sit above a three-column stack with two padlocks in the front row.

- Clear all pixel blocks of the pirate portrait using ant boxes from the stack.
- Opening
- Begin with the middle Green 30 box to complement the active Green 34 and strip the border rapidly.
- Trap
- The Yellow and Brown details are buried deep under the pirate coat and green background; summoning them early stalls slots indefinitely.
- Mechanic
- Blue and yellow padlocks seal two stack columns until their matching keys are uncovered from the pixel art.
