How to beat Colony Flow! Level 292 — full solution
- Tap the Dark Purple 38 box in the front row on the left, the Dark Purple 23 box in the front middle, and the Dark Purple 48 box on the front right. They move into slots to strip the outer perimeter of the helmet and space backdrop.
- Tap the White 69 box on the right of row 2 and the White 20 box in the middle of row 2. They start carrying away the extensive white foreground and border blocks.
- Tap the Blue 50 box in row 3 and the Blue 35 box in row 4 as they become exposed at the front of the stack. Blue ants peel away the astronaut's space suit and visor accents.
- Tap the Pink 22 box and the Light Green 23 box from the stack into the slots. These target the astronaut's inner face and the visor reflections uncovered by the previous layers.
- Tap the Dark Purple 23 box, White 34 box, and Grey 22 box from the front row. They work simultaneously to clear the remaining suit details, background patches, and face borders.
- Tap the Light Green 22 box, Pink 15 box, and Dark Purple 25 box as slots open up. They break down the central face blocks and the surrounding dark visor trim.
- Tap the Grey 15 box and Black 1 box from the front row to clear out small remaining interior accents.
- Tap the White 12 box and Dark Purple 16 box into the open slots to finish removing the helmet base and background space blocks.
- Tap the remaining Blue 30 box, Blue 43 box, and final Dark Purple 1 box to carry away the very last blocks at the top of the canvas.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Pink 22 box or Light Green 23 box early while the outer frame remains intact → Pink and Light Green are fully sealed inside the Dark Purple helmet, so the boxes sit idle in the slots and cause a buffer jam.
- Filling all five slots with White and Dark Purple boxes simultaneously without leaving space to rotate in inner colours once the suit breaks open → ants get blocked and no slots remain free to react.
Quick tips for Level 292
- Dark Purple and White form the entire outer crust; clear them down until Pink and Light Green become exposed along an open perimeter edge.
- Monitor the countdown numbers on large White and Dark Purple boxes so you know when a slot will naturally free up before calling a new box.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The canvas depicts an astronaut helmet against a deep space background, bordered heavily in Dark Purple and White, with Pink, Light Green, and Blue inside. Below sit two ant nests, five holding slots, and a vertical stack of numbered ant boxes.
- Goal
- Clear all coloured blocks from the astronaut picture using the ants from the stack before filling all five slots with stalled boxes. There is no timer.
- Opening
- Begin with the front-row Dark Purple 38, Dark Purple 23, and Dark Purple 48 boxes. These safely clear the exposed top, sides, and bottom border blocks.
- Trap
- The Pink 22 and Light Green 23 boxes in the mid-stack; calling them before the visor and helmet are breached will trap them in slots because their colours have no exposed edges.
- Mechanic
- Ants can only carry blocks that are directly exposed to the outer perimeter of the drawing. Internal details cannot be harvested until surrounding layers disappear.
Level 292 questions
-
What do I tap first in Colony Flow! Level 292?
Tap the Dark Purple boxes in the front row (38, 23, and 48). They immediately attack the exposed outer edges of the helmet and backdrop.
-
Why do my Pink and Light Green boxes stop collecting blocks?
Pink and Light Green are located inside the helmet visor. If you send their boxes into slots before peeling away the outer Dark Purple and White layers, their ants have no path to reach them.
