Clear a 1000-block pixel cat surrounded by grass, blue sky, and a red heart. Use cyan and green boxes to strip the background and ground layer before opening the inner cat and heart layers. Watch the multiple linked chains to avoid slot jams.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 278 — full solution
- Tap the linked trio of Cyan 45 boxes in the front row. They fill the first three slots and clear outer cyan sky tiles across the top edge.
- Tap the Cyan 80 and Cyan 70 boxes in row 2, right side, as slots clear. Ants continue clearing the large sky perimeter.
- Tap the Green 20 and Dark Green 25 boxes from row 2. They target the lower grass field, exposing the cat's feet and bottom outline.
- Tap the Black 30 and linked Green boxes revealed across the middle columns. Black ants carve away the dark outlines of the cat's legs and body.
- Tap the White 25 and White 40 boxes uncovered in the front row. White ants work directly on the exposed rear body of the cat.
- Tap the Light Green 45 and Green 22 boxes to finish off the remaining patches of grass along the lower board.
- Tap the Red 40 box and Pink 20 box once the heart and inner details are exposed. Red ants strip the heart completely.
- Tap the Orange 35 and Orange 28 boxes to strip the cat's striped tail and back fur.
- Tap the remaining White and Cyan boxes in any order. The final ants carry away the head and sky corners to clear the board.
