expert Live 12 colours / pieces Checked September 20, 2026

Colony Flow Level 250 is a super hard stage featuring a multi-layered puppy pixel portrait. Strip the linked beige background framing before touching the puppy's fur, then dig inward layer by layer to avoid deadlocking the slots.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 250 — full solution

  1. Release the front-row Beige boxes across slots 2 through 5 and the front-left Orange 40 box into slot 1. The Beige ants strip the outer background grid framing while Orange ants begin clearing exposed fur on the puppy's back, reducing the linked Beige counts down to 9, 18, and 29.
  2. Allow the active boxes in the slots to continue working down their numbers without introducing new boxes. The linked Beige boxes and Orange 28 steadily carry off the remaining background and outer fur until Orange drops to 2 and only a single Beige 2 remains in slot 5.
  3. As slot space clears, tap Yellow 11 and Dark Purple 43 from the front row. They target the exposed yellow patches and dark purple outline blocks along the puppy's face and back, quickly draining their numbers to zero and vacating their slots, followed by Purple 25 from row 2.
  4. Send the White box into slot 1 to target the exposed white face, chest, and paws while the remaining Beige 2 finishes its final blocks and frees the linked slots. Tap Red 4 from the front row right to strip the puppy's red collar in four quick carries.
  5. Tap Pink 23 and Grey 36 as they advance to the front row to clear the pink and grey accent blocks around the paws and nose. Release Yellow 8 to pick up the loose yellow blocks on the puppy's head, followed by Green 40 from the back row.
  6. Fill the freed slots with the heavy fur-clearing boxes: tap Yellow 50, Orange 20, and Brown 29. Brown ants strip the puppy's ears and back spots while Yellow and Orange ants swarm the large body and tail sections, reducing their numbers rapidly.
  7. From the remaining stack, tap Black 20 and Grey 39. The Black ants collect the final eye and outline blocks while Grey and the active Yellow and Brown boxes strip the last remaining pixels from the paws and tail to win the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Red 4 in the opening → the puppy's red collar is completely buried under the white face and yellow chest, so Red 4 sits stuck in a slot and blocks incoming boxes.
  • Releasing Black 50 before the face outlines are uncovered → black outline blocks are shielded by the beige background and outer fur, leaving Black 50 stranded with 50 counts to clear.

Quick tips for Level 250

  • Clear the outer background first: linked boxes that target the background border open up exposed edges across the entire subject.
  • Hold low-count accent boxes like Red 4 until the exact layer covering them has been peeled away so they clear immediately without hogging a slot.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture shows a sleeping puppy with beige background framing, yellow-orange fur, brown ears, a white face and chest, and a red collar. Five slots sit above a deep stack of 18 boxes.
Goal
Carry away all blocks from the puppy portrait using the ant boxes in the stack; no timer is present.
Opening
Tap the front-row linked Beige boxes and the Orange box to dismantle the outer border and expose the upper body.
Trap
The interior accent colours like Red 4 and Black 50 are heavily buried beneath outer fur layers; opening them early locks up slots permanently.
Mechanic
Linked boxes share horizontal connector bars across slots; all linked boxes must reach zero before those slots become usable again.

Level 250 questions

  • What should I tap first on Level 250?

Tap the linked Beige boxes and the front Orange box to strip the surrounding background border and expose the puppy's top coat.

  • Why won't my chained slots unlock?

Linked boxes share slots with connecting bars. Every box in the linked chain must count down to zero before the chained slots are released.
