How to beat Colony Flow! Level 186 — full solution

  1. With the Beige 30 box already working in the first slot, tap the Yellow 20 box (front row, far left) and the Dark Green 35 box (front row, far right). This strips the outer background blocks and frees two slots.
  2. Tap the Light Green 20 box and Light Green 40 box from the front row. They remove the upper green eaves and right-side foliage, exposing the roof lining.
  3. Tap the Beige 30 box (front row, left) and Yellow 35 box (front row, second from left). They clear remaining border background tiles to reveal the cat silhouette and upper canopy.
  4. Tap the Black 22 box (front row, second from right) and Dark Green 26 box (front row, far right). The ants begin carrying away the black cat and lower shrubbery blocks.
  5. Tap the Cyan 42 box, Dark Purple 11 box, and Yellow 37 box into the available slots. They clear decorative accents and roof framing, exposing the internal pink columns.
  6. Tap the Black 27 box and Light Green 8 box to finish carrying off the cat and remaining rooftop foliage, freeing up central buffer space.
  7. Tap the Pink 15 box, Pink 20 box, and Pink 40 box in sequence. With the outer pavilion structure removed, ants rapidly clear the pink support pillars.
  8. Tap the remaining Pink 19, Dark Green 37, Dark Green 25, and Light Green 35 boxes. They clear the bottom foundation tiles to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Pink 20 box early → the pink pavilion pillars are entirely enclosed behind the roof and base blocks, leaving the box stuck in a slot.
  • Sending the Black 22 box to a slot before opening the yellow background → the cat's silhouette is partially obscured, stalling slot turnaround.

Quick tips for Level 186

  • Always work outside-in by depleting the beige and yellow perimeter before committing to inner pavilion colours.
  • Keep at least two slots open when clearing structural details so newly exposed colours can be targeted immediately.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture depicts a garden pavilion with pink pillars, green eaves, and a black cat sitting on top, set against a light background. Below are five slots and a multi-row stack of ant boxes.
Goal
Carry away all coloured blocks from the pixel picture by feeding matching ant boxes into the five slots.
Opening
Allow the initial Beige 30 box to strip outer edge pixels, then deploy Yellow 20 and Dark Green 35 to peel away outer layers.
Trap
The Pink boxes hidden in the stack correspond strictly to internal pillar columns; tapping pink before the roof and floor clear clogs a slot.
Mechanic
Boxes only consume blocks directly exposed to the outer perimeter of the remaining structure.
