Clear the extensive purple border surrounding the dog before attempting interior colors. Releasing brown, white, and yellow boxes too early will clog slots while their blocks remain buried under the background.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 157 — full solution
- Tap the linked Purple + Brown 68 pair from the front row into slots 1 and 2, then tap the adjacent Purple 70 into slot 3. Purple ants begin chewing away the bottom row of purple background blocks.
- Tap the linked Beige 10 + Yellow 49 pair into slots 4 and 5. This fills all five slots, relying on Purple 70 in slot 3 to drain and reopen a working bay.
- When the first purple box empties, tap the front-row Purple 70 into the freed slot. Purple ants continue clearing along the bottom and side edges of the background.
- As the outer border recedes, Brown 68 begins harvesting the exposed brown paws and body; tap the linked White 50 + Purple 70 pair into available slots to start clearing the white belly and chest.
- Tap the linked Black 30 + Brown 65 pair once black outline blocks along the lower body are uncovered. Black and brown ants clear the lower dog silhouette.
- Allow Beige 10 and Yellow 49 in slots 1 and 2 to strip the uncovered yellow chest band and ear highlights as their blocks become exposed.
- Tap the remaining stack column to release Beige 10 and its linked Pink 14. Pink ants harvest the cheeks and inner ear details.
- Tap the final Purple 70 to clear the top background corners, then let the last Brown box collect the remaining brown forehead blocks to complete the board.
