How to beat Colony Flow! Level 143 — full solution
- With Purple 25 and Brown 44 already linked in the first two slots, tap Red 12 (front row, middle). The red ants strip the exposed drink blocks at the bottom right, uncovering the golden key and freeing the middle slot.
- Collecting the golden key unlocks the yellow padlock on the front-left stack. Tap Orange 26 (front row, right) and Cyan 38 (middle row, centre). Cyan ants begin stripping the exposed cyan background along the bottom edges, leaving three slots occupied.
- Tap White 25 (middle row, right). White ants clear the bottom border and shirt edges, exposing internal red stripes and the lower boundary of the dog's face while freeing its slot.
- Tap the linked White 35 and White 41 pair from the stack into the two open slots. The white ants clear the shirt and snout blocks, leaving two slots free.
- This is the critical choke point where slots can jam if large colours are drawn prematurely. Tap Cyan 33 and Cyan 30 to systematically shave away the right and lower background, exposing the dog's spectacles and outlines without overflowing the buffer.
- Tap Black 26 (front row, left) and its linked partner White 32. The black ants remove the nose, glasses frame, and dark facial accents, opening up the underlying brown and orange sections.
- Tap Orange 25 into the open slot. Orange ants consume the glasses frames and fur accents, which allows the lingering Brown 44 box in the second slot to rapidly count down as brown face blocks become exposed.
- Tap the linked Purple 25 and Red 30 pair, followed by Purple 35, Cyan 45, and the linked White 4 and Cyan 2 pair. They finish clearing the beret, upper cyan sky, and remaining border blocks to complete the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Black 26 before uncovering the nose and glasses → black blocks are completely enclosed early on, permanently jamming a slot.
- Ignoring the red drink on the right → Red 12 is needed immediately to collect the key; delaying it keeps the left stack column locked and starves your move options.
Quick tips for Level 143
- Always count free slots before releasing linked pairs, which strictly require two available slots simultaneously.
- Focus on clearing the cyan backdrop surrounding the subject so internal character colours become exposed sequentially.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture is a square pixel mosaic of a dog wearing glasses and a beret holding a glass with a golden key inside. Five slots sit above a three-column stack, with a central nest hole between them.
- Goal
- Clear all coloured blocks from the picture using the ant boxes in the stack without filling all five slots with inactive boxes.
- Opening
- Purple 25 and Brown 44 start already linked in slots 1 and 2. Immediately tap Red 12 to strip the drink blocks and collect the golden key to unlock the left stack column.
- Trap
- Brown 44 sits in slot 2 from the start, but its brown blocks are buried deep inside the dog's face and ears. Releasing non-exposed colours early easily causes a five-slot deadlock.
- Mechanic
- Padlocked boxes cannot be selected until their matching key is freed from the picture by removing the blocks surrounding it. Linked boxes must be placed into slots as a connected pair.
