Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 142 Walkthrough
Level 142 features a pixel-art star character surrounded by an outer white border. The winning strategy requires deploying white ants first to strip the surrounding background before tapping internal colours. Avoid tapping Orange 10 early while its target blocks remain buried.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 142 — full solution
- Tap the White 50 box in the front row, right. Its ants immediately begin carrying away the exterior white frame blocks from the bottom edge and corners.
- Tap the Hot Pink 13 box (row 2, right), the Light Blue 15 box (row 1, middle), the Pink 6 box (row 2, middle), and the Yellow 30 box (row 2, left). These fill all five slots while the white ants continue exposing inner edges.
- Allow the first White 50 box to finish and vacate slot 1. Tap the Yellow 35 box from the stack into the free slot to accelerate clearing the yellow face blocks.
- Tap the Orange 10 box from the front row, left, as soon as the bottom white blocks clear to expose the orange border along the star's lower feet. Orange ants quickly strip these exposed blocks.
- Tap the Red 50 box from the stack into the next open slot. Red ants target the exposed outline blocks around the star's perimeter and feet.
- Send the Yellow 20 box and the next White box into open slots to clear the remaining upper white frame and reduce the bulk of the star's core body.
- Maintain steady throughput as the Hot Pink, Light Blue, and Pink boxes clear their last cubes from the facial details, freeing up multiple slots simultaneously.
- Deploy the remaining Yellow and Red boxes to clean up the final outline and central pixels (leaving White 1, Hot Pink 1, Red 1, and Yellow 3) until all blocks are deposited into the nest.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Orange 10 box on move one → orange blocks are buried beneath the bottom white boundary, trapping Orange 10 in a slot until the white frame is cleared.
Quick tips for Level 142
- Always start with the background colour on framed pixel-art stages so internal border colours become exposed.
- Keep at least one slot cycling quickly with low-count detail boxes like Pink 6 to prevent slot deadlocks.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture shows a yellow star creature outlined in red, orange, pink, and light blue, surrounded entirely by a white rectangular border. Below the picture sits a single nest hole, five ant slots, and a three-column stack of ant boxes.
- Goal
- Clear all pixel blocks from the star image using ants from the stack boxes without jamming all five slots.
- Opening
- Tap the White 50 box on the right of the front row first. White blocks form the entire outer perimeter, allowing white ants to immediately start carving into the picture.
- Trap
- The Orange 10 box sits in the front row at the start, tempting an early tap. Its target blocks are located strictly along the star's inner bottom feet and are completely blocked by white cubes.
- Mechanic
- Ants can only pick up exposed edge blocks of their corresponding colour. Blocks enclosed by other colours remain untouchable until the outer layers are removed.
Level 142 questions
-
What should I tap first on Level 142?
Tap the White 50 box on the front row right. White blocks cover the outside of the star, so white ants can clear room for other colours.
