Colony Flow! Level 114 Walkthrough

normal Live 8 colours / pieces Checked September 20, 2026

Level 114 presents a blue tang fish framed by dense seaweed. The key to winning is stripping the outer green foliage and yellow tail fins first to uncover Dory's blue body and dark stripes. Avoid sending White or Dark Purple into slots early before their interior blocks are exposed.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 114 — full solution

  1. With Green 35 already occupying slot 1, tap Blue 40 (row 1, col 3), Yellow 43 (row 1, col 2), Light Blue 20 (row 2, col 1), and Light Green 50 (row 2, col 2). The green and yellow ants strip the bottom-left foliage and exposed tail fins.
  2. Tap Dark Purple 47 (row 3, col 1) as slot 1 frees up. Blue and yellow ants chew through the outer perimeter while dark purple ants begin dismantling the tail stripes, bringing all five slots into active countdown.
  3. Tap Dark Green 45 (row 1, col 1) and Light Green 40 (row 2, col 2) into opened slots. Their ants strip away the lower seaweed patches, fully exposing Dory's lower belly and jawline.
  4. Tap Dark Purple 35 (row 1, col 1) and Blue 45 (row 1, col 3). The blue ants carve into Dory's body while dark purple ants continue chipping through the curved side markings.
  5. Tap Yellow 25 (row 1, col 2), Yellow 10, and Light Green 35 into available slots. They consume the upper seaweed clusters and finish the yellow caudal and dorsal fin accents.
  6. Tap Dark Green 44, Green 16, and Light Blue 24 to clear the remaining seaweed canopy on the top-left and right edges, uncovering Dory's eye and white stomach fin.
  7. Tap White 10 (row 1, col 4) and Dark Purple 20. White ants dismantle the eye and pectoral fin while purple ants eliminate the last dark facial stripe.
  8. Tap Light Green 5, Dark Green 3, and Green 5 to collect the final stray boundary blocks and complete the board.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping White 10 from the opening stack → White blocks form Dory's eye and inner belly fin, completely shielded by blue and green pixels, causing White 10 to clog a slot indefinitely.
  • Tapping Dark Purple 47 before the outer blue body is chipped away → Dark purple ants can only reach a few tail pixels, stalling the box in slot 5 until the surrounding fish body is cleared.

Quick tips for Level 114

  • Focus on clearing the green seaweed border first; uncovering edges of the fish opens up many more blue and purple pixels simultaneously.
  • Keep White 10 sitting in the stack until the fish's face and lower belly are visibly carved out.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture depicts a blue tang fish (Dory) swimming rightward, surrounded by green and light green seaweed. Beneath the picture sits a single nest hole, five bay slots, and a four-column stack of ant boxes.
Goal
Completely dismantle the pixel picture by using ant boxes from the stack without filling all five slots with stuck boxes.
Opening
Slot 1 starts with Green 35 active. Tapping Yellow 43 and Blue 40 immediately targets the outer exposed perimeter of yellow tail fins and blue lower scales.
Trap
White 10 is available in the very first row of the stack, but white pixels only exist deep inside the eye and inner belly fin. Tapping it early wastes a critical slot.
Mechanic
Ants can only carry blocks touching an exterior or exposed edge. Boxes in slots remain stationary until blocks of their matching colour become accessible on the perimeter.

Level 114 questions

  • When should I tap White 10 on Level 114?

Leave White 10 in the front row until Dory's face and lower belly are largely cleared. The white blocks are buried inside the eye and inner fin, so tapping it early clogs a slot.
