Colony Flow! Level 116 Walkthrough

normal Live 6 colours / pieces Checked September 20, 2026

Level 116 features a pixel-art bear surrounded by a green background with hidden mystery blocks. Strip away the green perimeter before tapping interior dark purple, yellow, and brown boxes. Opening inner pink and white boxes too early will clog the slots while they remain buried.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 116 — full solution

  1. Send the Green 20 box into a slot to begin chewing through the bottom-left green border. Tap the linked Green 45 and Green 35 pair in the front row to consume the lower green frame, freeing up access to the dark purple outline.
  2. Tap the Dark Purple 81 box on the right of the front row to clear the exposed outer dark purple border blocks along the bottom edge. Tap the Green 25 box on the left of row 2 to continue stripping the outer green corners.
  3. Tap the Yellow 25 box in the middle of row 2 and the Brown 39 box in row 3 to target the bear's body and paw outline as the outer border recedes. Tap the Dark Purple box to keep the border clear, leaving all five slots actively clearing.
  4. Send the Yellow 40 box and Yellow 16 box into free slots to carve out the bear's lower torso. As the brown and yellow outer blocks clear, the bottom mystery block clusters reveal additional pink blocks beneath.
  5. Tap the linked White 2 and Green 15 pair when two slots open up. The White 2 ants quickly remove the exposed teeth blocks from the bear's mouth, immediately vacating its slot, while the Green 15 ants clear leftover perimeter blocks on the right.
  6. Tap the Pink 47 box from the front row to clear the exposed pink belly patch and the mystery tiles that turned pink. Tap the Dark Purple 45 box to strip away the nose, eyes, and inner outlines.
  7. Tap the linked Green 50 and Green 35 pair to strip the extensive top-left and top-right green background. Tap the Yellow 35 box and Yellow 40 box to dismantle the bear's forehead and ears as the dark purple outlines vanish.
  8. Tap the remaining Green 11 and Yellow boxes into the open slots to carry away the final pixels of the top border and ears, clearing the board to win the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Pink 47 box while the belly and inner ears are still covered by yellow and dark purple blocks → the pink box sits frozen in a slot for a long period, causing an early slot overflow.
  • Tapping the White 2 box before the teeth are exposed by clearing the surrounding dark purple mouth blocks → the white box stays trapped in its slot until the outline is broken.

Quick tips for Level 116

  • Always work from the green background inward: clear border blocks first to reveal the animal's dark purple outline.
  • Linked boxes require two empty slots simultaneously; plan ahead and wait for two single boxes to deplete before tapping a link.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A pixel-art bear figure sits centered on a green field. Five slots sit below the playfield, with a single exit hole positioned directly underneath the picture.
Goal
Clear all pixel blocks from the picture using the ant boxes in the stack without filling all five slots with inactive boxes.
Opening
Use the Green 20 and the front-row linked Green 45 + Green 35 pair to immediately strip away the lower green frame.
Trap
Tapping the Pink 47 box or White 2 box early blocks valuable slots, because both pink inner ears and white teeth are deeply enclosed behind yellow and dark purple pixels.
Mechanic
Linked boxes are connected by a green pipe and must enter the slots as a pair, requiring two unoccupied slots.

Level 116 questions

Clear the green border blocks first using the green boxes so the dark purple outlines and yellow body pixels become accessible.

  • When should I tap the White 2 box?

Wait until the dark purple mouth outline is partially removed so the white teeth blocks are exposed to the ants.
