How to beat Colony Flow! Level 111 — full solution

  1. Tap Light Blue 16 (row 2, column 3) and Blue 25 (row 2, column 2). Light Blue ants strip the exposed lower ice floes while Blue ants begin eating the dark base edge, leaving three slots open.
  2. Tap Pink 40 (row 1, column 3) and Hot Pink 30 (row 1, column 4). Pink and Hot Pink ants remove the outer lower bands of the aurora, opening access to the adjacent sky blocks.
  3. Tap Blue 25 (row 2, column 1) and Purple 20 (row 1, column 2). Blue ants carve through the outer night sky borders and Purple ants pick away exposed violet patches along the lower-middle section.
  4. Tap Light Green 50 (row 1, column 1) and Blue 30 (row 1, column 2). Light Green ants peel away outer green streaks on the left and right flanks, keeping two slots free.
  5. Tap Black 25 (row 1, column 1) and Light Blue 16 (row 1, column 3). Black ants dismantle the dark shoreline at the bottom while Light Blue finishes clearing the horizontal ice shelf.
  6. Tap Purple 36 (row 1, column 2), Purple 40 (row 1, column 4), and Hot Pink 37 (row 1, column 2). Violet and pink ants strip the dense middle wave of the aurora as inner color layers unlock.
  7. Tap Light Green 50 (row 1, column 3), Blue 50 (row 1, column 2), and Pink 20 (row 1, column 3). Ants clear the central green aurora swirls and large swaths of the surrounding blue night sky.
  8. Tap Purple 40 (row 1, column 1), Cyan 1 (row 1, column 5), Blue 20 (row 2, column 2), and Light Green 1 (row 1, column 2). The final ants clear the central star and remaining aurora pixels into the nest to finish the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Light Green 50 or Purple 40 on the very first turn → the aurora's green and violet sections are encased by the outer sky and ice layers, so the boxes sit idle in the slots and cause a deadlock.

Quick tips for Level 111

  • Work from the outer perimeter inward by removing the bottom dark shoreline and light blue ice blocks before tackling the core aurora ribbons.
  • Keep at least two slots open whenever tapping boxes with high counts like 40 or 50.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture is a square pixel-art scene depicting northern lights over mountains and ice. Below the nest and five slots is a four-column stack of ant boxes.
Goal
Clear every coloured block from the image by deploying matching ant boxes into the five slots without getting stuck.
Opening
Start with Light Blue 16 and Blue 25 because the lowest horizontal ice blocks and dark edges are immediately exposed on the exterior of the picture.
Trap
The large Light Green 50 box in the front row is tempting to open early, but green blocks are largely buried behind outer purple sky and pink bands.
Mechanic
Ants can only pick up blocks of their box's colour that touch an exposed edge. If a box has no reachable blocks, it remains frozen in its slot.

Level 111 questions

  • What should I tap first on Colony Flow! Level 111?
