normal Live 11 colours / pieces Checked September 21, 2026

Level 30 features a pixel-art pea pod with smiling peas. The winning strategy is stripping the black outlines and outer green pod first to expose the interior facial highlights. Avoid jamming all five bays before the enclosed white and pink pixels are reached.

How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 30 — full solution

  1. Tap the Orange 19 jar (front row, left), the Black 21 jar (front row, center), the revealed White 8 jar (row 2, left), and the Green 25 jar (row 2, center). Black ants strip the outer outline and green ants peel the pod edge, leaving Black 21 down to 17 in bay four.
  2. Allow Green 25 and Black 21 to finish and clear. Tap the Yellow 14 jar (front row, right) and the newly revealed Lilac 12 jar (row 2, right). Yellow ants dismantle the stem tips while Lilac and White begin eating exposed accents, reducing Orange to 17 and White to 5.
  3. Wait for Yellow 14 and Lilac 12 to deplete. Tap the Green 41 jar and the Green 47 jar from the left grid columns, cycling them into the bays to expose the Light Green 7 jar and Black 2 jar behind them. Black ants erode remaining borders while Orange counts down to 13.
  4. Let the Black 2 jar and Light Green 7 jar finish harvesting their targets and clear out of the bays. Orange steadily drains to 8 and White reaches 4, leaving only two bays occupied and three bays open.
  5. Tap the Cyan 30 jar and the Lilac 27 jar from the front row, then tap the Green 18 jar as slots become free. Pod body pixels and face details disappear rapidly; White drops to 3 and Cyan drops to 1, leaving Dark Blue 35 and Blue 18 in the grid.
  6. Tap the Blue 18 jar (front row, right), the Dark Blue 35 jar (front row, left), and the Black 30 jar. All five bays fill simultaneously with Black 30, White 1, Blue 4, Cyan 3, and Dark Blue 12. Hold back Pink 16 until a bay opens.
  7. Once Cyan 3 and Blue 4 clear their bays, tap the Pink 16 jar (front row, center), followed by the Orange 11 jar, Light Green 18 jar, and Cyan 6 jar. The inner pea smiles and cheek highlights clear out while Black counts down to 10.
  8. Allow Orange 11, Pink 16, and Cyan 6 to finish. Tap the Cyan 18 jar (front row, center) to clear the last inner fragments, leaving Black 1 and Light Green 6 to consume the final outline pixels and finish the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Pink 16 jar while all five bays are occupied with Black 30, White 1, Blue 4, Cyan 3, and Dark Blue 12 → pink mouth pixels are still covered, causing a complete stall lock.
  • Tapping the White 8 jar without uncovering the pea faces first → white eye highlights are fully enclosed by green and black pixels, leaving White stalled in a bay for several phases.

Quick tips for Level 30

  • Prioritize Black jars whenever outline segments are exposed to uncover interior pea colours faster.
  • Keep at least one bay empty during the mid-game transition when large jars like Black 30 and Dark Blue 35 are active.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A pixel-art pea pod with three peas sits above five empty bays, with jars arranged in stacked columns across the bottom grid.
Goal
Deploy matching coloured jars to completely eat every pixel of the pea pod picture.
Opening
Start by tapping Orange 19, Black 21, and Green 25 to peel away the pod's outer border and expose interior colours.
Trap
Sending Pink 16 into the bays during phase six while all five bays are already occupied will trigger a loss because pink pixels are completely enclosed.
Mechanic
Exposed pixel stripping dictates that ants can only harvest pixels touching the open exterior of the remaining image.

Level 30 questions

  • Why won't the White jar finish eating in Level 30?

White pixels are highlights enclosed inside the green peas. They only become exposed once Green and Black outline pixels around the faces are removed.
