How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 283 — full solution
- Tap the roped pair Orange 20 and Orange 20 in the front row, then tap Yellow 20 on the far right. The orange ants strip the outer frame pixels while yellow ants begin clearing edge border accents.
- Tap the roped pair Brown 30 and Brown 20, then tap the roped pair Brown 30 and Brown 30 behind them as they unlock. Ants clear the peripheral brown outline framing the picture, opening access to underlying layers.
- Tap the roped pair Orange 40 and Orange 40, followed by the roped pair Yellow 40 and Yellow 40 in the back corners. Orange and yellow ants consume the thick outer margins of the mosaic.
- Tap Red 20, Red 16, and Dark Grey 20 to target the revealed red accents along the border and dark outline blocks around the central blossom.
- Tap Light Blue 24, Cyan 8, and Dark Grey 14. Ants strip the upper sky-coloured band and dark framing lines, uncovering the bright inner leaf patterns.
- Tap White 11, White 12, and Light Blue 12. White ants collect the outer petal background sections and Light Blue continues consuming the upper decorative arch.
- Tap Purple 22, Purple 25, and Cyan 20. The purple ants feed on the central crest above the stem, while cyan ants consume the wings and leaves surrounding the flower.
- Tap Red 22, Orange 22, and White 32. Ants clear the blossom core and the remaining white canvas surrounding the central tulip.
- Tap Yellow 26, Dark Grey 16, and Light Blue 16. These jars eat away the upper border details and inner structural pixels.
- Tap the final jars: Light Blue 31, Cyan 1, White 11, and White 14. Ants eat the last remaining pixels of the stem and background to complete the board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Purple jars early before the upper border is stripped → purple pixels are completely sealed inside the central crest, causing purple jars to stall indefinitely in the bays.
- Opening Red 22 while red pixels are buried behind the white diamond → red sits in a bay without active targets, restricting buffer space.
Quick tips for Level 283
- Roped pairs take two bays at once; only tap them when at least two bays are completely clear.
- Prioritize the outer borders: brown, orange, and yellow must clear before inner cyan and purple pixels become exposed.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A symmetrical square tapestry with an outer orange, yellow, and brown border enclosing a stylized red tulip on a white diamond, surrounded by cyan wings and a purple crest.
- Goal
- Clear every pixel on the board using the jars in the grid across five available bays.
- Opening
- Start with the roped Orange 20 and Orange 20 pair in the front row, then Yellow 20 on the right to remove the outer frame.
- Trap
- Tapping Purple or Red jars from the lower rows too soon will stall bays, as both colours are buried deep inside the mosaic.
- Mechanic
- Roped pairs bind two jars together; both jars deploy simultaneously and require two free bays.
