Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 182 Walkthrough

hard Live 11 colours / pieces Checked September 21, 2026

Clear a pixel image of a toy soldier riding a horse using five bays. Strip away the exposed outer Brown, Beige, and Grey horse pixels before releasing jars for the soldier's inner uniform. Managing bay space during the Red and Black chest transitions is essential to prevent stalls.

How to beat Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle Level 182 — full solution

  1. Tap the front-row Brown 50, Blue 4, Beige 29, and Pink 9 jars. Then tap Cyan 15 and Beige 2 from row 2 as bays clear. The ants begin stripping the horse's flank, legs, and saddle cloth, freeing up the front grid.
  2. Send in Brown 28, Blue 4, and Red 44 from the front positions. The Brown and Blue jars rapidly finish the perimeter horse sections and parts of the saddle, leaving bays open for the lower row reveals.
  3. Tap Beige 3, Yellow 9, and the revealed Hot Pink 32 and Hot Pink 10 jars. These feed on the lower legs and underbelly while maintaining at least two open bays for incoming primary colours.
  4. Deploy Blue 4, Red 35, and revealed Grey 63 and Dark Grey/Black 60 jars into available bays. Ants consume the horse's base and start clearing the soldier's boots and sword handle.
  5. Send the Cyan 16, Red 32, Brown 62, and Blue 2 jars into the bays. This clears the horse's head, the rest of the reins, and begins exposing the soldier's Red tunic and trousers.
  6. Tap Red 18, Beige 4, Red 19, and Hot Pink 24. These chew through the soldier's upper body and arms, carving deeper into the hat and facial features.
  7. Release the Black 55 and Black 38 jars along with Red 11 and Red 16. Ants chew the soldier's tall black bearskin cap and details on the jacket.
  8. Tap Yellow 3, Grey 6, and the remaining Pink 6 and Black 4 jars. The ants strip the uniform's gold braid and face pixels.
  9. Send in the final Red 1, Brown 6, Beige 6, and Yellow 10 jars to consume every last pixel and finish the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping Black 55 or Black 38 in the early game → the soldier's bearskin hat is buried behind the outer horse and tunic layers, causing the black jar to stall in a bay indefinitely.
  • Tapping large Red jars before horse pixels are cleared → Red pixels on the soldier's coat are locked behind the horse's neck and reins, clogging the bays.

Quick tips for Level 182

  • Work from the outer horse frame inwards toward the rider to keep pixels accessible.
  • Never fill all five bays with jars of unexposed inner colours like Black or Yellow until their outlines are stripped.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A square pixel canvas depicting a toy soldier in red and black riding a brown and beige horse. Five bays sit above a grid of stacked jars.
Goal
Consume all pixels of the soldier and horse by deploying matching colored jars without stalling all five bays.
Opening
Start by tapping the front Brown 50, Blue 4, and Beige 29 jars, which immediately find exposed pixels on the horse's body and saddle.
Trap
The Black jars (Black 55 and Black 38) become accessible mid-puzzle but must not be placed until the top of the soldier's hat is completely exposed.
Mechanic
Mystery jars marked with question marks uncover their true colour and number once the jar immediately in front of them is sent to a bay.

Level 182 questions

  • Why do my Black jars stop eating pixels?

The Black pixels in the soldier's tall hat are covered by edge pixels. Only tap Black jars after the upper perimeter is stripped.
