Colony Flow! Level 558 Walkthrough
Clear the goldfish pixel art by peeling the cyan background and yellow body. Black 11 sits trapped in a slot from the start, so manage slot space carefully until the eye is exposed. Free the yellow key inside the fish to open the locked box.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 558 — full solution
- With Cyan 94, Black 11, and Cyan 70 already in the first three slots, tap the Cyan 100 box (front row, second from left). It enters the fourth slot and begins stripping the outer cyan background.
- Tap the Yellow 50 box (front row, third from left). It occupies the fifth slot and releases yellow ants to chip away at the exposed body blocks of the goldfish.
- As Cyan 94 and Cyan 70 clear their slots, tap the Cyan 70 box (front row, middle). Cyan ants continue stripping the surrounding background, uncovering the fish's lips and fins while freeing up slots.
- Let Yellow 50 finish stripping yellow blocks from the goldfish. Removing these blocks collects the embedded yellow key, unlocking the Yellow Padlock 10 box in the stack and emptying a slot.
- Tap the White 4 box (front row, far left). White ants quickly remove the four white sclera blocks surrounding the fish's eye, fully exposing the black pupil blocks underneath.
- Black 11 in slot 2 now activates automatically since its black blocks are exposed. Black ants carry off the pupil, finally clearing Black 11 and opening up slot 2.
- Tap the Yellow 33 box (front row, left), the unlocked Yellow 10 box (front row, middle), and the Yellow 35 box (front row, right). Yellow ants dismantle the rest of the goldfish body and tail until all yellow blocks are gone.
- Tap the Hot Pink 13 box (front row, right). Hot pink ants strip the lips and fin accents, leaving behind only the brown platform and the top edge of the cyan background.
- Tap the revealed Brown box (front row, left, formerly the mystery box). Brown ants dismantle the 16 brown platform blocks at the bottom right until the platform is gone.
- Tap the remaining Cyan boxes (Cyan 73, Cyan 75, and Cyan 95) from the stack in any order. Cyan ants clear the final background blocks along the top edge to finish the level.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Hot Pink 13 early → hot pink blocks on the lips and fins are buried under cyan background blocks, leaving it stuck in a slot alongside Black 11 and causing an early gridlock.
- Tapping Yellow 33 or Yellow 35 before Yellow 50 finishes → fills multiple slots with yellow boxes while the available exposed yellow surface area is still too small to process them efficiently.

- Keep Black 11 in mind at all times; you effectively play the first half of the level with only four usable slots.
- Focus on clearing cyan background and yellow fish blocks first to reach the white eye blocks and the yellow padlock key.

- Trap
- Black 11 occupies slot 2 from the very beginning but cannot activate until White 4 strips the surrounding eye blocks. Tapping too many buried colours will clog the remaining four slots.
- Mechanic
- A Yellow Padlock 10 box is locked in the stack and unlocks once yellow ants clear the blocks hiding the yellow key inside the fish. Columns in the stack merge inward as entire vertical columns clear.

Why won't Black 11 clear from slot 2 on Level 558?
Black 11 targets the fish's pupil, which is completely covered by white and yellow blocks. Tap White 4 once exposed to uncover the black blocks so Black 11 can activate.

How do I unlock the yellow padlock box in the stack?
A yellow key is buried inside the goldfish body. Use Yellow 50 to strip the body blocks until the key is freed and unlocks the box.
