Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 533 Walkthrough
Level 533 features a birthday cake topped with three lit candles. The winning route strips the cake from the base upward, timing the linked boxes so slots never choke while candle shafts remain buried. Keep Black boxes in reserve until the candle stems are exposed.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 533 — full solution
- With Black 29 and Yellow 28 already working in slots 1 and 2, tap Hot Pink 10 from the front row. Black ants finish the bottom plate while hot pink ants strip the lower decorative trim.
- Tap Yellow 40 from the front row and release White 32 into an open slot. These clear the lowest sponge layer and white frosting base, opening access to the middle pink tier.
- Tap Pink 37 from the front row followed by Red 42. Pink ants clear the wide frosting ribbon across the cake center while red ants peel the cherry decorations.
- Tap Yellow 25 and White 40 from the advancing stack rows. They strip the middle cake layers and the white piping, uncovering deeper boxes in the stack.
- Deploy Pink 27 and Red 25 into free slots. They rapidly clear the scalloped upper frosting decorations around the candle bases.
- Tap Yellow 14 and White 29 to carve away the upper frosting body and expose the candle flames.
- Send Pink 9, Red 4, and Red 18 to consume the inner candle flame cores and hot pink candle accents, leaving the candle shafts exposed.
- With slots open and candle stems bare, release the linked Black 30 pair alongside the final White and Yellow boxes. Black ants strip the three candle shafts while white and yellow ants collect the last flame pixels to clear the board.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the linked Black 30 box early → the candle shafts are buried behind frosting layers, locking two slots until late in the solve and causing a slot jam.
- Deploying Red 42 before the yellow sponge layer is cleared → red cherry blocks remain enclosed, leaving the red box stalled in its slot.
Quick tips for Level 533
- Clear picture blocks strictly from bottom to top to respect the cake's outer-to-inner layering.
- Always verify that at least two slots are completely empty before triggering a linked box pair.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture depicts a layered birthday cake on a dark base plate topped with three candles. Five slots sit above the ant holes, and the stack below contains multiple rows with diagonally linked boxes.
- Goal
- Clear all coloured blocks from the birthday cake picture by cycling ant boxes through the five slots. There is no countdown timer on this level.
- Opening
- With Black 29 and Yellow 28 already in the first two slots stripping the base plate and candle tips, tap Hot Pink 10 and White 32 to open the bottom frosting layers.
- Trap
- The linked Black 30 pair requires two open slots and cannot work until the candle shafts are exposed. Tapping it early clogs the slots permanently.
- Mechanic
- Linked boxes are connected by a rigid bar. Tapping either box immediately moves both into available slots, requiring two empty slots.
