Colony Flow! Level 52 Walkthrough

normal Live 5 colours / pieces Checked September 20, 2026

Level 52 features a pixel portrait of two baby footprints surrounded by a yellow background. The strategy relies on peeling away the outer yellow blocks to expose the pink and cyan feet, unlocking the padlock key before the slots choke.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 52 — full solution

  1. Send the Cyan 25 box (front row, middle), the Yellow 30 box (front row, right), the Pink 30 box (row 1, middle), the Pink 25 box (row 1, right), and the Pink 22 box (row 2, middle) into slots. Yellow ants strip the lower background and Pink ants start peeling the right foot, fully exhausting Yellow 30, Pink 30, and Pink 25 to free three slots.
  2. Send the Black 34 box (stack row 1, middle) and the Light Blue 30 box (row 1, right) into slots. Black ants begin carrying the dark outline surrounding the pink foot while the Pink 22 box finishes clearing exposed pink blocks, leaving two slots open.
  3. Send the Pink 24 box (stack row 1, right) and the Pink 17 box (row 2, right) into the free slots. Black 34 empties out, followed closely by Pink 24 and Pink 17 as they strip the core of the right footprint down to its outline, opening three slots.
  4. Send the Yellow 30 box (stack row 1, right) and the Light Blue 30 box (row 1, middle) into slots. Yellow ants clear the central yellow divide between the feet, exposing the left foot's cyan body so the parked Cyan 25 box starts draining, frees the key, and unlocks the padlock.
  5. Allow the Cyan 25 box and both Light Blue 30 boxes to collect exposed cyan and light blue blocks from the left footprint. All three blue-toned boxes count down to zero and exit, clearing the left foot's body and opening up three slots.
  6. Send the Pink 27 box (stack row 1, right), the Pink 14 box (row 2, right), and the Black 35 box (row 1, middle) into slots. Pink ants harvest the remaining pink toes on the right foot, while black ants strip the foot boundary and outline tiles.
  7. Send the Yellow 26 box (stack row 1, right), the Yellow 9 box (row 2, right), and the Light Blue 75 box (row 1, left) into the slots. Yellow ants finish the upper-right background frame and leave the board, leaving only outer border fragments.
  8. Send the Black 31 box, the Pink 25 box, the Yellow 30 box, and the remaining Light Blue 25 box from the front row into the remaining slots. The ants carry away the final outline blocks and toes to clear the board completely.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Light Blue 75 box on the front row at the very start → its color is buried beneath outer yellow background blocks, causing it to clog a slot for almost the entire level.
  • Deploying black boxes before clearing background yellow → black outline tiles cannot be picked up until the outer perimeter blocks are removed.

Quick tips for Level 52

  • Always exhaust the yellow background boxes first to create open exposed edges on both feet.
  • Keep at least two slots open whenever tapping locked or large-count boxes to prevent stalling.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The picture depicts two baby footprints (a cyan left foot and a pink right foot) framed by black outlines inside a pale yellow background square. A three-column stack sits below the five empty slots.
Goal
Clear all pixel blocks forming the two footprints and their surrounding frame by deploying ant boxes into the five slots.
Opening
Deploy Yellow 30 and the first available Pink boxes to immediately remove the bottom edge of the frame and open access to the right foot.
Trap
The Light Blue 75 box sits in the front row from move one, but tapping it early traps it in a slot because light blue blocks remain sealed inside the left foot.
Mechanic
A locked Grey 30 box in the stack is unlocked only after ants uncover and retrieve the embedded key from within the picture.

Level 52 questions

  • Why does the Light Blue 75 box stall if tapped first in Level 52?

Light blue blocks are completely shielded by yellow background and cyan foot tiles; it cannot pick up blocks until those layers are cleared.

  • How do you unlock the locked box in the stack?

Clear the yellow divider blocks between the two footprints to uncover the hidden key, which unlocks the padlock automatically.
