How to beat Colony Flow! Level 462 — full solution

  1. Tap the linked White 508 and Brown 160 pair along with the adjacent Brown 160 box in the front row of the picture area. This unleashes ant streams on the outer white perimeter and exposed brown outlines, gradually stripping away the outer frame.
  2. Tap the White 45 box (front row, left) and the White 45 box (front row, right) from the lower stack. Their ants clear additional white blocks along the top and sides, opening deeper edges of the picture while leaving central slots open.
  3. Tap the Brown 24 box in the front row of the stack. Its ants target the brown outline around the fox ears and body, exposing beige fur sections beneath.
  4. Tap the Beige 35 box (second row, middle) and Beige 35 box (second row, right) as they shift forward. They work on the inner ear and face blocks, gradually uncovering the hidden key.
  5. Tap the White 40 box and White 45 box to consume remaining background pixels and border sections around the tail and legs.
  6. Tap the Dark Purple 45 box and Dark Purple 40 box once the key is collected and padlock on the stack is removed. They clear the dark purple eye, paw markings, and inner ear shading.
  7. Tap the Red 45 and Red 42 boxes into the open slots. Their ants remove the red coat and body blocks across the center of the fox.
  8. Tap the Beige 34, Beige 33, and Beige 35 boxes from the stack to strip away the remaining chest fur and tail tip.
  9. Tap the remaining Dark Purple 21 and Brown 23 boxes to clear the final few accent blocks, completely dismantling the pixel art and finishing the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the Dark Purple box early → dark purple blocks are fully surrounded by beige and brown fur, leaving the box stuck indefinitely in a slot.
  • Tapping the Red 45 box before clearing surrounding white and beige pixels → red blocks lack exposed edges and will stall your slots.

Quick tips for Level 462

  • Prioritize peeling the white background from outside inward so interior animal layers become reachable.
  • Keep at least two slots open whenever preparing to unlock linked or mystery boxes.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A pixel portrait of a fox sitting inside an outer white rectangle. Five slots sit above an ant box stack, with a nest hole positioned between the art board and slots.
Goal
Dismantle all pixel blocks of the fox portrait by deploying ants from boxes into the five slots until the board is clear.
Opening
Start by activating the linked White 508 and Brown 160 boxes, as white borders and brown outlines cover the entire exterior.
Trap
The Red 45 and Dark Purple 45 boxes are trapped behind outer layers; deploying them prematurely clogs the slots.
Mechanic
Linked boxes must enter slots together, and padlocked boxes require collecting their corresponding key from the picture before they unlock.

Level 462 questions

  • What do I tap first in Colony Flow! Level 462?

Tap the linked White 508 and Brown 160 box pair. The white pixels dominate the outside and must be cleared first.

  • Why won't my red ants pick up any blocks?

Red blocks form the interior body of the fox. You must strip away the white borders and brown outlines before red blocks are exposed.
