How to beat Colony Flow! Level 389 — full solution
- Tap the Brown 45 box in the front row, right. Ants immediately clear the exposed brown foreground terrain at the bottom.
- Tap the Green 37 box in the front row, middle-right. Ants clear the green foliage branches reaching up from the base.
- Tap the Dark Purple 50 box in the front row, far left. Ants strip the dark purple night sky blocks along the top left edge.
- Tap the linked Light Blue 20 + Light Blue 45 pair from the second row. They enter two open slots and begin removing the cyan and light blue framing blocks.
- Tap the Brown 40 box that shifted to the front row. Ants harvest the remaining brown bottom structures, uncovering deeper light green and yellow blocks.
- Tap the Dark Purple 21 box and the Light Green 25 box in the front row. They chip away at the upper sky and the inner vine stalks wrapping the moon.
- Tap the Black 7 box and Yellow 24 box into open slots. Yellow ants begin clearing the exposed outer rim of the large central moon.
- Tap the Light Green 13 box and Blue 38 box. They clear the remaining sky perimeter and vine tips, giving full access to the moon interior.
- Tap the Yellow 3 box in the front row. Yellow ants remove the last remaining moon pixels to complete the stage.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the Yellow boxes before clearing surrounding foliage → the moon's yellow blocks are deeply buried, causing the yellow boxes to sit idle and block slots.
Quick tips for Level 389
- Always clear the brown base and outer dark purple sky first, as they form the perimeter holding back access to inner colours.
- Pay attention to linked Light Blue boxes; ensure you have at least two empty slots before tapping them.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A pixel canvas showing a pale yellow moon behind light green vines and brown foreground pillars, flanked by blue and dark purple night sky. Five slots sit above a layered stack of ant boxes.
- Goal
- Strip every block from the picture using ant boxes released from the stack into the five slots.
- Opening
- Start by deploying the Brown 45 and Green 37 boxes from the front row. Both colours are immediately exposed along the bottom ground layer.
- Trap
- The central pale yellow moon contains hundreds of blocks but is completely enveloped by vines and sky early on. Releasing yellow boxes prematurely will clog slots.
- Mechanic
- Linked boxes joined by metal bars drop into the slots simultaneously, requiring multiple slots to be open at once.
Level 389 questions
-
What should I tap first on Level 389?
Tap the Brown 45 box and Green 37 box at the front right of the stack. Their blocks are directly exposed on the bottom terrain.
-
Why are my yellow ants not moving?
The yellow moon blocks are completely shielded by dark purple sky and green vines. Strip the outer layers before tapping yellow boxes.
