Colony Flow! level guide
Colony Flow! Level 388 Walkthrough
Clear a pixel portrait of a cat wearing sunglasses resting on a brick wall. Strip away the massive outer cyan border first to uncover the embedded canvas locks, then dismantle the brown wall to free the interior colours. Managing the linked boxes in the stack prevents early slot blockages.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 388 — full solution
- Tap the Cyan 175 box (front row, far left). Its ants strip the wide outer cyan border and decrease the locked canvas counters, exposing the cat's ears and the lower brick ledge while keeping four slots free.
- Tap the Orange 20 box (front row, far left) and White 30 (front row, second from left). Orange ants strip the cat's outer fur and ears, while white ants begin clearing facial highlights around the muzzle.
- Tap the linked Cyan 20 and Cyan 34 pair once accessible, followed by the Orange 50 box. The cyan ants keep whittling down the sky background, while orange ants work inward across the cat's torso.
- Send the Brown 46 and Pink 10 boxes into the newly freed slots. The brown ants target the entire bottom brick wall, eliminating the embedded canvas locks and leaving the rest of the body fully accessible.
- Tap the Pink 45 box and the White 50 box as earlier boxes expire. White ants clear the cat's muzzle and chest fur, while pink ants strip the collar and interior ear accents.
- Release the Cyan 165 box and Cyan 105 box into the open bays. Cyan ants dismantle the remaining boundary grid and corner pixels, leaving only the central sunglasses, sparkles, and core fur patches.
- Tap the Black 37 box (front row, far right), followed by Yellow 24 and Purple 13 from the rightmost column. Black ants clear the dark sunglasses, yellow ants gather the sparkle stars around the head, and purple ants remove the remaining collar studs.
- Send the final Cyan 18 and Orange 8 boxes into the remaining free slots. The ants carry the last stray fur and border blocks directly into the nest to complete the picture.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping Black 37 from the front row too early → the black sunglasses are buried entirely behind the cat's face and outer cyan grid, leaving the Black 37 box permanently stuck in a slot.
- Triggering the linked Cyan 20 and Cyan 34 pair without at least two free slots → failing to reserve two open bays causes an immediate deadlock if other slots contain stalled colours.
Quick tips for Level 388
- Always expend the high-count cyan boxes first to dismantle the picture's massive background frame.
- Wait until the bottom brick ledge is cleared before dedicating slots to detailed facial colours like pink and black.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The picture depicts an orange cat in dark sunglasses perched on a brown brick wall against a cyan backdrop. Five locked counters sit embedded across the canvas. Below the nest are five empty slots and a five-column stack of ant boxes.
- Goal
- Clear all coloured blocks from the pixel canvas by deploying matching ant boxes from the stack until every lock and block is carried into the nest.
- Opening
- Start by deploying Cyan 175 from the front row. The cyan perimeter is the only exposed edge at the beginning, making cyan the only fully safe initial tap.
- Trap
- The Black 37 box in the front row is an immediate trap. The sunglasses it clears sit deep in the centre of the portrait, so tapping it early clogs a slot for most of the level.
- Mechanic
- Linked boxes share a connecting bar in the stack and deploy simultaneously, requiring two available slots before either can be tapped.
Level 388 questions
-
What should I tap first on Level 388?
Tap the Cyan 175 box on the far left of the front row. It immediately targets the massive exposed border and opens the interior of the board.
-
Why is the Black 37 box not counting down?
The cat's black sunglasses are buried behind layers of fur, muzzle blocks, and the outer background. Clear the surrounding face before deploying black ants.
