Colony Flow! Level 36 Walkthrough

normal Live 4 colours / pieces Checked September 20, 2026

Colony Flow Level 36 features a symmetrical circular mosaic of White, Orange, Grey, and Black blocks. Clear the outer White and Grey rim first to expose the interior Black and Orange diamonds. Manage slot capacity carefully, especially when deploying the linked Black and Orange pair, to avoid gridlock before the timer runs out.

How to beat Colony Flow! Level 36 — full solution

  1. Tap the White 30 box (column 1, row 1), the Orange 28 box (column 1, row 1), the White 25 box (column 1, row 1), the White 30 box (column 3, row 1), and the Grey 24 box (column 4, row 1). Their ants strip the outer perimeter blocks, starting countdowns on all active colours while leaving one slot buffer.
  2. Tap the Black 25 box (column 4, row 1), the Black 25 box (column 2, row 1), the Orange 30 box (column 3, row 1), and the Grey 25 box (column 4, row 1). Their ants target the newly exposed Black border and outer accents; all working boxes reach zero and leave all five slots completely free.
  3. Tap the Black 30 box (column 1, row 1), the Black 30 box (column 3, row 1), the Orange 28 box (column 2, row 1), the White 25 box (column 4, row 1), and the Black 25 box (column 4, row 1). The ants chew through the outer Black and Orange diamond bands until all five slots clear out again.
  4. Tap the Orange 24 box (column 1, row 1), the White 30 box (column 2, row 1), and the Orange 30 box (column 2, row 1). These boxes clear the mid-layer White and Orange diamond segments, quickly finishing and returning the board to five empty slots.
  5. Tap the Black 30 box (column 2, row 1), the Black 25 box (column 3, row 1), and the White 25 box (column 1, row 1). Their ants remove the inner Black framing and central White sections, clearing all three slots.
  6. Tap the Orange 27 box (column 1, row 1), the linked Black 30 (column 2, row 1) and Orange 28 (column 3, row 2) pair, and the White 30 box (column 3, row 1). This fills all five slots simultaneously; the Black box quickly finishes, freeing a slot and preventing a gridlock.
  7. Tap the Black 25 box (column 1, row 1), the Grey 28 box (column 3, row 1), and the Black 30 box (column 2, row 1). Ants dismantle the remaining Black pattern points and Grey border remnants, reducing the remaining picture to the core.
  8. Tap the Black 25 box (column 1, row 1), the Orange 26 box (column 2, row 1), and the White 25 box (column 3, row 1). Their ants carry away the final center blocks, clearing the board to win the level.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping the linked Black 30 and Orange 28 pair when fewer than two slots are free → the tap is blocked or fills the entire remaining capacity, preventing other necessary colours from entering.
  • Deploying Black boxes before peeling the outer Grey and White border → Black blocks are shielded by the exterior layers, causing Black boxes to stall in slots until the border is stripped.

Quick tips for Level 36

  • Wait for active boxes to reach zero and vacate their slots before pulling new colours from the stack to maintain a comfortable slot buffer.
  • Inspect the outer edge of the mosaic before tapping; only deploy boxes whose colours currently touch the exposed perimeter.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
A circular geometric mosaic composed of White, Orange, Grey, and Black blocks sits above two ant nests. Five empty slots wait below, above a four-column stack of ant boxes.
Goal
Clear all pixel blocks from the geometric pattern before the 3-minute-30-second countdown reaches zero. There are 30 ant boxes in the stack to process through the five slots.
Opening
Tap the front-row White 30, Orange 28, and White 25 on the left, then White 30 and Grey 24 on the right. These colours all have exposed blocks on the outer border, allowing multiple boxes to work concurrently.
Trap
Tapping the linked Black 30 and Orange 28 pair while slots are already crowded. The pair consumes two slots at once and can easily cause a complete stall if remaining slots hold blocked colours.
Mechanic
Linked boxes joined by a connecting bar deploy into two separate slots upon a single tap. Ensure at least two empty slots are open before tapping either connected box.

Level 36 questions

  • How do linked boxes work on Level 36?

Tapping either box in a linked pair automatically sends both boxes into two separate slots at once. Make sure at least two slots are free before tapping them.
