How to beat Colony Flow! Level 246 — full solution
- Tap the three front-row Cyan 35 boxes in any order. The cyan ants dismantle the outer frame and the lower sky border, exposing the lower edges of the dark purple clouds while keeping two slots free.
- Tap the front-row Dark Purple 30 box and the row 2 Dark Purple 30 box. The purple ants begin clearing the bottom cloud perimeter as it becomes reachable from the stripped lower edge.
- Tap the Yellow 32 box and the incoming Yellow 31 box. Yellow ants clear the lower crescent edge of the moon and the lower stars as soon as the cyan background surrounding them recedes.
- Tap the emerging Cyan 35 and Cyan 40 boxes to strip the middle and side sections of the sky. This strips the background away from both sides of the main cloud bank.
- Tap the Black 25 and Black 26 boxes along with the Orange 30 box. The ants dismantle the dark cloud bases and the shaded inner contour of the crescent moon.
- Tap the Pink 35 and Purple 10 boxes as they reach the front of the stack. They clear the inner cloud highlights and the decorative stars nestled between the cloud layers.
- Tap the Orange 7, Yellow 1, and Cyan 10 boxes into the active slots. They clear the upper moon horn, the remaining star clusters, and the shrinking cloud tops.
- Tap the final Cyan 35 box into a free slot. Its ants collect the remaining cyan pixels along the top edge of the board to complete the picture.

Moves that cost you the level
- Tapping the front-row Dark Purple 30 box before the cyan border is cleared → dark purple blocks are fully surrounded by cyan, so the box sits idle in a slot and wastes capacity.
- Tapping the Yellow 32 box while multiple cyan boxes are still working → yellow stars and moon blocks remain sealed inside the sky, locking a slot until the perimeter clears.
Quick tips for Level 246
- Always exhaust available perimeter cyan boxes before tapping interior colours like yellow or purple.
- Keep at least one slot open at all times so fast-clearing background boxes have room to cycle through.
Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- The pixel picture shows a yellow crescent moon with stars resting behind dark purple and black clouds, set against a large cyan sky. The stack sits below the five empty slots in four-box rows.
- Goal
- Clear all pixel blocks from the picture using ant boxes from the stack. There is no timer on this level.
- Opening
- Send the front-row Cyan 35 boxes into the slots. Cyan forms the entire outer boundary of the canvas, guaranteeing immediate and continuous ant traffic.
- Trap
- Tapping the front-row Dark Purple 30 box on the opening move stalls in a slot because every dark purple block is shielded by outer cyan sky blocks.
- Mechanic
- Ants only target exposed outer edges of their matching colour; interior pixels cannot be harvested until the surrounding colours are peeled away.
Level 246 questions
-
What should I tap first on Colony Flow! Level 246?
Tap only the Cyan boxes in the front row. The cyan sky envelops the entire image, so only cyan ants can reach their target blocks at the start.
-
Why is my Yellow box stuck in a slot?
The yellow moon and stars are embedded inside the sky. You must clear the surrounding cyan blocks before yellow ants can reach exposed edges.
