How to beat Colony Flow! Level 148 — full solution
- Tap the Yellow 35 box on the right of the front row, followed by the Cyan 42 box and Cyan 40 box from the second row as they unlock. The cyan ants peel away the bottom corners and side borders of the sky background while yellow ants clear the lower outer sparkles.
- Tap the Dark Purple 30 box from the front left and the White 22 box from the front center. With the lower Cyan background disappearing, tap the White 26 box from the right column to join in preparing for the outer beard blocks once exposed.
- Tap the Cyan 46 box and the Cyan 40 box revealed in the center stack. Their ants clear the lower-left and lower-right outer Cyan columns, exposing the Brown base beneath the seated figure and the lower Dark Purple hem.
- Tap the Brown 25 box as it reaches the front row. The brown ants carry away the platform beneath the figure, uncovering the lower edges of the Red robe and freeing up slot space.
- Tap the Red 32 box and the White 20 box. The white ants dismantle the large white beard from the bottom up, while the red ants begin stripping the outer sleeves and chest garments.
- Tap the Cyan 40 box and Cyan 31 box from the remaining stack to clear the upper sky behind the head and around the hat, exposing the Yellow crown accents and Dark Purple hair outlines.
- Tap the Dark Purple 24 box, the Yellow 3 box, and the Red 18 box into the freed slots. The ants carry away the remaining robe details, the crown trim, and the facial features, leaving only the central face.
- Tap the two Beige 25 boxes, the Yellow 34 box, and the final Red 40 box. The ants take the face skin, headpiece, and final remaining blocks down the nest to finish the level.

Board breakdown5 notes
- Layout
- A pixel portrait of a smiling bearded deity wearing a red robe and gold crown, enclosed within a rectangular Cyan sky with Yellow sparkles and a Brown base. Five slots sit above a three-column stack of ant boxes.
- Goal
- Clear all coloured blocks making up the portrait and background into the nest using the ant boxes in the stack.
- Opening
- Send the Cyan boxes and outer Yellow boxes first to strip the exposed sky edges and sparkles along the borders of the board.
- Trap
- The White beard blocks are completely surrounded by the Cyan background and Red robe at the start; opening White boxes early leaves them idle in the slots.
- Mechanic
- Ants can only collect blocks that have at least one exposed edge; buried inner layers cannot be targeted until outer borders are removed.
