How to beat Colony Flow! Level 138 — full solution

  1. Tap the Orange 22 box from the front row and uncover the initial green boxes. The orange ants strip the exposed base of the mushroom stem, opening room along the lower edge of the board.
  2. Tap the Green boxes (Green 30 and Green 27) and White 40 into the slots. Green ants remove the bottom and lower-side background blocks, exposing the mushroom outline and lower stem edges while White 40 waits in reserve.
  3. Send the Black 26 and Green 16 boxes into the remaining slots. The green ants finish clearing the lower green backdrop, and the black ants begin removing the lower outer borders around the mushroom stem and cap rim.
  4. Tap the Yellow 25 and Yellow 22 boxes into freed slots, followed by the Cyan 20 box. Yellow ants dismantle the inner stem and lower cap gills, while cyan ants begin stripping the lower cyan stripe across the mushroom cap.
  5. Deploy the White 39 box along with Black 25. Black ants clear outline segments between the gills and cap, allowing white ants to clear the white gill blocks and the lower star sparkles inside the cap.
  6. Tap the Pink 35 and Purple 35 boxes from the stack as slots open. Pink ants strip the middle pink band across the cap, and purple ants clear the upper cap body around the white sparkles.
  7. Deploy the remaining Cyan 20 and Pink 21 boxes along with Orange 17 to finish clearing the internal cap patterns, middle stars, and remaining stem fragments. The slots progressively cycle empty as each color completes.
  8. Send the remaining Green 30, Black 23, and Purple 9 boxes into the open slots. Green ants remove the upper background, black ants take down the top border, and purple ants carry off the final mushroom peak to finish the board.

Moves that cost you the level

  • Tapping both White 40 and White 39 immediately at the start → white blocks inside the cap stars are entirely sealed behind green, black, and pink blocks, clogging slots for prolonged stretches.
  • Opening the Purple 35 boxes while the green border and black outline are still intact → purple blocks are buried near the cap crown, leaving the boxes stuck.

Quick tips for Level 138

  • Work from the outer frame inward: stripping the lower green background first opens access to the stem and lower gills.
  • Allow outline black boxes to run alongside fill colors so new inner color layers become exposed continuously.
Board breakdown5 notes
Layout
The board depicts a fantasy mushroom with a spotted purple, pink, and cyan cap resting on yellow gills, an orange stem, and a solid green background. Five empty bays sit above a three-column stack of numbered ant boxes.
Goal
Clear all pixel blocks forming the mushroom and background using the ant boxes in the stack before running out of slots.
Opening
Start by tapping the Orange 22 box from the front row to clear the exposed base of the stem, then follow with green boxes to clear the lower background.
Trap
The White 40 box sits in the front row at opening, but mushroom star sparkle blocks are deeply embedded inside the cap; tapping it too early wastes a slot.
Mechanic
Boxes count down one per block retrieved by their ants. When a box reaches zero, it disappears and vacates its slot.

Level 138 questions

  • Which box should I tap first on Level 138?

Tap the Orange 22 box in the front row to strip the bottom of the mushroom stem, followed by Green to peel the lower background.

  • Why won't my white ants collect any blocks?

The white blocks in the cap are sparkle stars surrounded by pink, purple, and black pixels; you must clear the outer layers before white blocks become exposed.
